Laerdal Medical India’s Post

Learning to Lifesaving: Episode 2 At Laerdal, we’re not just about technology; we’re about creating a space where healthcare professionals can truly grow and refine their life-saving skills. Our partnership with SGT UNIVERSITY is helping establish a national reference for immersive, hands-on medical training in India. In this episode, SGT University students share how simulation has made a real difference in their medical training, particularly in patient care. As beginners, it can be overwhelming to learn complex procedures like vaginal examinations, IUD insertions, or performing a normal delivery. But with the help of manikins and realistic simulations, these students are gaining the confidence they need to handle these tasks effectively. The ability to practice in a controlled, supportive environment is invaluable. With SimCapture, students and instructors can manage, record, and assess simulation training both on-site and in situ. This experience is not just about building skills; it’s about empowering students with the confidence to face challenges head-on and provide better patient care. It’s the perfect example of how simulation transforms knowledge into hands-on experience, turning confidence into competence—one step closer to becoming capable doctors who will shape a healthier tomorrow.
