It’s often said that you truly discover who supports you when you need it the most. During my journey in the voting process for GynaGuard, I was reminded of this in many ways. However, despite these challenges, the outpouring of support from complete strangers 👏 people I didn’t even know has been a humbling reminder of the power of kindness and solidarity. It has shown me that there are people out there who truly believe in what you're doing and will cheer for your success even without any personal gain. This is the essence of true support, and it's what drives progress and positive change in the world ✨ Now, winning GynaGuard would be more than just a personal achievement. It would be a monumental victory for women ♀️ everywhere. The product itself is revolutionary in its focus on women’s health, specifically in the area of feminine care. But beyond that, my winning represents something far greater, the idea that women can and should lift each other. Women supporting women isn’t just a catchy phrase, it’s the key to empowering one another, breaking barriers, and creating a stronger, more united community 🙌 When we as women stand behind one another, magic happens. We become the foundation for each other’s dreams, the strength that fuels each other’s growth, and the unwavering support system that can change the world. My journey to winning GynaGuard is about more than just the prize, it’s about setting an example of what it means to stand tall, to be resilient, and to empower others, especially other women along the way. So, as I reflect on the challenges and the unexpected support I've received, I am reminded of the importance of fostering that sisterhood. Winning GynaGuard would not only redefine new opportunities, but it would also send a powerful message: that when women support women, we are unstoppable. Let's be the generation that chooses to uplift, support, and celebrate each other’s victories 💓 To the men, Supporting a woman in her journey isn’t about words, it’s about action. Real support means showing up, amplifying her voice 🙌 and celebrating her victories. So ask yourself: Are you really an ally, or just a spectator? #womenempowerment #faceofgynaguard2024 #suddenrealization #upliftment #realsupport

One stitch can create a ripple of change—just ask Shikha. Shikha joined IVillage A family with her heart weighed down by personal challenges. But with every stitch she made, she sewed a path toward independence and hope. Today, she's not just crafting products, she's crafting a brighter, more resilient future. Her story reminds us that when we uplift one woman, we empower an entire community. At IVillage A family, every stitch is a story of transformation. Together, we’re not just making bags; we’re weaving opportunities for women to thrive. Let’s continue stitching brighter futures, one step at a time. #EmpowerHer #ShikhasJourney #StitchingHope #IVillageImpact #WomenOfStrength #CraftingChange #ThreadsOfHope #TogetherWeRise #IVillageCommunity #IVillageAFamily

A fantastic morning at Seddon Deadly Sins Cafe with a small group of women connecting, sharing and being willing to make themselves vulnerable by looking honestly at what's working and what could be better. How fortunate am I to be able to do what I love and call it work?! Speaking of deeper dives, we are looking at future events that allow for just that. The most consistent feedback since I began the half day workshops has been that people want more. More time, more opportunities to workshop the actions they wish to take as a result of the activities, more time to talk in pairs and then reflect back and share as a small group. Weekend retreat, anyone? Watch this space! #circleofcontrol #selfleadership #growthmindset #emotionalintelligence #SelfAwareness #personaleffectiveness #supportsmallbusinessowners #supportlocalbusiness

Celebrating Empowered Women at Living Beyond the Hustle Now more than ever, we need community. We need to surround ourselves with others who support us, guide us, empower us, and grow with us. As women, finding or building these communities can be challenging, especially as we get older. But remember, there is no competition when we cheer each other on—there is enough space for all of us to be successful. Living Beyond the Hustle is a perfect example of this. At our retreat, successful women came together to support each other and grow. As women, we often take care of everyone else first. But during this retreat, we put ourselves first and poured the excess into others. Friendships were built, memories were made, and personal growth began. We celebrate the incredible women who joined Jessica and me at Living Beyond the Hustle. Your strength, resilience, and dedication to growth inspired us all. You are the embodiment of what it means to be part of a supportive community. To those reading this, we encourage you to find your community. Your community may be with us, but it does not have to be. Seek out those who uplift you, who inspire you, and who cheer you on. Surround yourself with people who empower you to be the best version of yourself. Together, we can achieve so much more than we can alone. Here's to building connections, fostering growth, and living beyond the hustle. 🌟 #Community #WomenEmpowerment #LivingBeyondTheHustle #SupportEachOther #Growth #Success

I am grateful for Wednesday Women's dedication to highlighting women's voices! Thank you for allowing me to share mine Leslie Greenwood and Melissa Moody 🍵! 🙏 The era of linear and traditional career paths is a thing of the past and (actually) was never a thing for most women and diverse professionals. Skills-first hiring takes a person's complete set of skills into account. Not only does it broaden your talent pool but skills-first hires are likelier to get promoted and have higher retention. What do you have to lose? Stop getting into salary wars with other companies because the algorithms gave everyone the same small pool of people. Start hiring using a skills-first approach.
“Create a network and never lose it! Find a small group of professional women where hard truths can be shared, difficult advice given, and connections made - these are the women that you want talking about you behind your back.” 🙌 This advice comes from our newest WW feature, Delphine Carter, an entrepreneur, tech leader, speaker, diversity champion, and passionate advocate for working mothers and caregivers. Delphine is the Founder and CEO of Boulo Solutions, a career matching service that helps women stay in and return to the workforce. “I am a problem solver at heart and founded Boulo to help provide a path for mothers to succeed in the workforce.” ✨ She also proudly serves on the Board for Innovate Birmingham, is a Fellow for the Women’s Foundation of Alabama, an annual supporter of Childcare Resources of Alabama, and volunteers at First Light. She was recently named Top Birmingham Woman and nominated for CEO of the Year by the Birmingham Business Journal. ⭐️Follow Delphine and learn more below. ___________________ We can do what we do because we’re supported by Commsor 🦕 - where business and personal success is created by a focus on “go-to-network” and relationship-driven growth.
