Lamb Weston has officially inaugurated a new production facility in Kruiningen, the Netherlands, on November 7, 2024. This expansion is set to boost the company's annual production capacity by 195 million kilograms, addressing the rising global demand for premium frozen potato products. The Kruiningen site now employs approximately 650 individuals, including 120 new staff members dedicated to the new plant. Emphasizing sustainability, the facility incorporates advanced technologies to optimize heat and water reuse, ensuring efficient raw material utilization and minimizing environmental impact. Stephan van Kuik, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Lamb Weston EMEA, highlighted the factory's state-of-the-art design, aimed at uniting people worldwide through their beloved potato products.

Industrial building south of Boston sells for $18.5M. A fully-leased industrial building in Boston’s south suburbs in Avon has sold for $18.5 million. The site last sold in 2021 for $11,950,000. The property was last assessed for just over $6 million. Tenants in the 109,300-square-foot building include the meal kit company HelloFresh, the produce distributor FreshPoint and Taylor Communications.
