At Davos, I had the privilege of serving on the nomination committee for the CSO Awards. It was an enlightening experience, looking deeper into the pivotal role of Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) in today's corporate landscape.
 The emergence of the CSO role, a mere two decades ago, marks a paradigm shift. These individuals are not just executives; they are the architects of transition within large corporations. They serve as the "sense-makers in chief," tasked with deciphering the complexities of our evolving sustainability landscape and charting strategic pathways for their organizations. If I dare to say it, can a CSOs embody the spirit of an insider activists? Navigating the delicate balance between corporate objectives and environmental stewardship, driving positive change from within.
