It’s personal. Recently my hubby earned a trip with his company, MSC Industrial Supply. At the awards ceremony dinner, CEO Erik Gershwind nailed it when he said, “Business is personal.” He is right. I was on a call with a potential merchant today, and heard yet another horror story where the business is having trouble with their payments & the sales man that signed them up doesn’t even answer her calls to help fix the issue. In business, issues will arise sometime or another. If it’s personal, the sales man (or whoever) will take ownership and seek resolution.
