Plan Potluck Perfection: Skip the expensive cookout and gather friends and family for a potluck. Assign dishes to keep costs down and enjoy a variety of delicious food. 2. Free Fun! The best way to spread holiday cheer? Singing loud for all to hear! I love watching Elf, but delivering holiday gifts takes more than just reindeer power and i am a high functioning procrastonator when it comes to gifts. It’s finally October! That means it's time for your church to bust out the fall decorations and get into the season’s spirit! That also means it's time to start planning your church’s Halloween event! Whether your church celebrates Halloween, Fall Festival, or some other autumnal event, we want you to have the best night possible! What is an awesome event your church can host for this end of October holiday? Well we have an idea we think you might really like… It’s called Trunk-or-Treat! - Instead of having families go around their neighborhoods trick-or-treating, all your church families can gather in your church’s parking lot to do something even better! - In a Trunk-or-Treat event, each family decorates their car and brings it to your parking lot. Then, everyone opens up their trunks and shows off their decorations while also handing out candy to kids who can go from car to car looking for treats. - It’s a safe and community-building alternative to trick-or-treating that is fun for the whole church! If you want, you can even add a theme to the event for the decorations and costumes like Disney movies, Bible stories, or anything else you can think of! Has your church tried a Trunk-or-Treat event? What other events work great for October celebrations? Let us know in the comments!

5 things you need to do in December. - Celebrate your little wins - Engage in self reflection. - Celebrate your LinkedIn community. - Attend concerts and fun events. - Eat Jollof rice and chicken. This is not the time to whine about goals you couldn’t achieve. Doing that won’t achieve the goals. Instead, focus on celebrating how far you’ve come, connect with your network, reflect on your growth, and enjoy the festivities around you. December is about embracing joy and gratitude, not regret. Happy weekend everyone 🤗 P.S. What other activities will you be doing in December?

As we gear up for the 4th of July celebrations, we wanted to share a few friendly reminders to keep your festivities safe and fun: 1. Fireworks Fun: Leave the fireworks to the pros! Enjoy the big displays and keep the sparklers for the kiddos (with adult supervision, of course). 2. Grill Masters: Keep your grill a safe distance from your home and never leave it unattended. Safety first, burgers second! 3. Stay Hydrated: Remember to drink plenty of water. It’s hot out there, and we don’t want anyone mistaking the fireworks for heat-induced hallucinations. 4. Travel Smart: If you’re hitting the road, buckle up, take breaks, and never drink and drive. Let’s make sure everyone gets home safely. 5. Pet Safety: Our furry friends might not love the booms and bangs. Keep them indoors and make sure they have a comfy, quiet space to relax. From all of us at Poppe Law Firm, we wish you a joyous and safe Independence Day! Let's celebrate the land of the free and the home of the brave responsibly.

They’re fun, they’re festive, and they’re hot! Sparklers are a fun and easy way to celebrate on holidays like Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. While these small fireworks are easy to light and fun to wave around, it’s important to use them safely. According to the CPSC, sparklers can burn as hot as 2000 degrees Fahrenheit and can easily cause burns when not handled correctly. So before you get out the sparklers this holiday, review our nine tips to help you stay safe while celebrating. https://bit.ly/4cg3U0r
