Connection & Thanksgiving! There are so many things to be grateful for in our lives that we don’t think about it because they are either not big enough according to our expectations or we don’t pay attention to them because we take it for granted. This week I’m giving thanks for a number of things: being healthy, my family that I love (my dog Bella included), my friends, my job, my co-workers. I give thanks for having found a second home in United States for 16 years and for the past 5 in Minnesota, a state that I came to love for the great people and its beautiful places (outside the Winter). I’m in Japan this week with my heart full of gratitute for the things I just mentioned and to celebrate my birthday. Hopefully I’m becoming wiser as I grow older. While I was sharing some of my adventures in Japan on Facebook and Instagram I got a comment from a beautiful person that I met through work looong time ago that got to my heart. She and I met when I was a completely different person. At that time I had no idea how much emotionally unprepared and broken I was. I didn’t want to be seen and at the same time I was internally screaming to be seen and heard and I didn’t even know it. It wasn’t so much about the comment she maid but the fact that she saw me when nobody would. People only saw the professional me. Fastforward, after having met so many people from different Countries and cultures through work. Having learned so much through pain and gain (it is all a matter of perspective), I learned the importance of seeing people beyond what they show me. We all are in this world to be part of each others learnings, wheather we like it or not. By seeing people beyond a title or a possession helps to create a true connection. True connections help us to stand strong. So I also want to give thanks to my true connections. Each one of those who, at some point, walked on my path and were part of my jouney and left a mark without even knowing. I’m thankful for you. #gratitude #leadership #learning #management #humanresources #ProfessionalDevelopment

Friday’s gratitude post This week, I’m grateful for all the conversations I’ve had with different people in various capacities. Some were work-related, some were food-related and others were about personal development or life in general. Reflecting back, I find that most of the moments I remember are those that have similarities with other people's experiences. For instance, a friendly banter with my sister about food preferences. We loveeeee to tease and remind her of that one time we went to a restaurant on her recommendation and had a terrible experience! Shared experiences have a massive impact on our happiness and well-being. They create moments of belonging and encourage us to become more self-aware and socially aware, providing the space to build trust. The need for social connection is vital for our survival as humans. Therefore , when you create moments of connections with your team, it encourages open communication, fuels creativity and builds stronger relationships. I invite to you to reflect on: - What conversations inspired you this week? - What shared experiences brought you moments of joy, connection and calmness?

To those actively helping others navigate the job market—offering advice, networking opportunities, or just a word of encouragement—you’re doing more than you know ☺️☺️☺️ This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for the people who take the time to invest in others' growth, even when they’re not officially part of the hiring process. May this year bring success, better jobs, better workplace environments, and whatever else you’re wishing for 🎉 If we haven’t connected yet, I’d love to hear your story, share ideas, and explore ways we can collaborate in the future. On this World Gratitude Day, I’m taking a moment to reflect on my journey as an IT professional working in sales. It hasn’t always been easy—navigating challenges, learning new technologies, and balancing the needs of clients—but I’ve learned so much along the way. What I've realized is that empathy is far more important at every stage of life than simply focusing on business dealings. What I’m most grateful for are the people who’ve been part of this journey. From supportive folks to clients who trust me with their business, every connection has played a role in my growth. It’s these relationships that make the work meaningful and remind me of why I love what I do. 🌱 Today, I want to share my gratitude and encourage others to do the same. In a fast-moving world, it’s the moments of connection and appreciation that truly matter. What’s your gratitude moment? 🎀 #WorldGratitudeDay #Thankful #GrowthAndGratitude #ITandSalesJourney #GratitudeMoment
