Today, on Patriot Day, we pause to remember the events of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost and forever changed. 🇺🇸 As we reflect on this solemn day, let's consider how we can embody the spirit of unity and resilience that emerged in its aftermath: 1.    Observe a moment of silence 2.    Thank a first responder 3.    Volunteer in your community 4.    Donate blood 5.    Support 9/11 charities. Organizations like the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Tuesday's Children, and the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund accept donations to support their work. 6.    Attend local memorial events 7.    Educate younger generations about this significant day 8.    Engage in random acts of kindness. Thanks IRS...   The Chronicle of Philanthropy reports: "In a potentially widespread error, the Internal Revenue Service has apparently transmitted tax return data for nonprofits that misreports organizations' finances for 2022 -- a glitch that could pose a barrier for charities seeking to secure donations or government grants."   As we all know, these listings are relied upon by donors and other investors to assess a nonprofit's financial health before making a grant or gift.    At this point, it's not clear how many non-profits are affected but it may be worth checking your organization's listing on Candid and ProPublica for errors.
