Great news!! ... next year's #LaserWorldOfPhotonics will feature a new Integrated Photonics area in recognition of the growing role of the corresponding device technologies in the future of #photonics. This common area and the dedicated program is provided by LASER World of PHOTONICS together with overall program support and speaker coordination from PhotonDelta, ficonTEC and EPIC. The idea is to attract all organizations involved in all layers of the integrated photonics eco-system into a common area at LWoP 2025 – from OSAT/CM services and device design, through wafer fabrication, chip hybridization and device packaging, and finally product end-of-line test. In principle this will not change the cost of exhibiting, but will provide a major opportunity for improved visibility for the sector (in particular for SMEs), a central area for a unified speaker program and (sponsored) industry presentations, as well as a real opportunity for visitors to learn more about what integrated photonics can do for them.
