Entries for the LATA Responsible Tourism Awards need to be submitted by 10 May. Here are some tips for writing your winning entry. Don't forget, all the Gold Winners are automatically entered into the Sabre Global Responsible Tourism Awards, which are announced in November. Good luck 💚CHOSE YOUR CRITERIA CAREFULLY💚 Make sure you check the criteria for each category carefully before entering and chose the ones that really suit your business best. You can read our examples on the LATA website, where we've compiled the winning entries from the Africa Responsible Tourism Awards. 💚FOLLOW THE SUGGESTED INCLUSIONS💚 In each category there are suggestions for what to include in your entry. Give as much detail as you can, as well as anything else that's not on the list. The judges will be looking for as many examples as possible. 💚WHY, WHAT AND HOW💚 The judges want to know WHY you chose to do something, WHAT was the impact and HOW it was funded. Supporting documents can be shared but ensure they are relevant to the category and application. 💚KEEP TO THE WORD COUNT💚 You don't need to use the full word limit but it's there as a guideline. If you are a long way under it, we suggest giving some more detail to support the application https://lnkd.in/emsMbBTb #responsibletourism #travelawards #sustainabletourism Harold Goodwin
