2023/2024 ACL injuries in professional Goal Keepers: last week a Portuguese first league team sustained 2 ACL ruptures in goalkeepers during the same training session. Incidence is increasing both in males and females, mostly in young players. Preventive exercises should mandatory be included in goal keepers specific trainning.

How to create a positive and enriching experience for young football players 1.Emphasize Fun: Make sure the sessions are enjoyable for the kids. Focus on participation, skill development, and teamwork rather than just winning. 2.Simplify Instructions: Keep instructions simple and clear, using language appropriate for the age group. Break down techniques into manageable steps. 3.Focus on Fundamentals: Spend time on basic skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and control. Building a strong foundation is crucial for young players.
