In collaboration with my band, Lost and Found, we chose to shed light on the less cheerful aspects of parenthood. Our goal is to bring attention to the emotions experienced by those who support their partners during, what can often be, one of the most challenging days of their lives. During mothers day, I asked my girls what they specifically liked about me. They said they appreciate how I care about their thoughts and feelings and they always know that they are loved. One of my goals on my motherhood journey is to maintain a healthy relationship with my girls.
