It’s not uncommon for nonprofit staff to misunderstand each other, especially in larger organizations with different teams such as direct client services, fundraising, and bookkeeping. I’ve found that identifying each person’s individual strengths and communication styles helps people understand each other better. Also, ensuring that everyone knows the strategic plan goals helps people to cooperate with each other and work together to achieve the goals.
