At God's Grace and Mercy Community Organization, we believe that every child deserves to go to bed with a full stomach and a hopeful heart. Here at QSI, we have compiled some local and national places and organizations that you can donate to financially or volunteer your time to make this season merry and bright for those around us.     Donate Blood:   -      Red Cross takes blood donations year round. Below are a few different places or organizations you can volunteer with.   -      Meals on Wheels. Help make and deliver meals to local community members. -      Feed My Starving Children. Help make and pack meals to send to children all over the world. Grab family or friends and make a night out of it! -      Animal Shelters. Animal shelters like the Humane Society need volunteers to spend time playing, walking, and cuddling with furry friends. This helps the animals prepare for future homes. -      Literacy Minnesota. Volunteer your time to help individuals improve their reading, writing, and English-speaking skills. -      People Serving People. A shelter that provides multiple resources to families experiencing homelessness. Spend time assisting with various education, financial literacy, or other programs to help these families get back on their feet.       These are just a few ways to give back to our local community here in Minnesota and elsewhere. Aren't these puppies the absolute cutest?! They were rescued by Neon One client Path of Hope Rescue. I had the pleasure of talking with their Founder Caitlin Knight and was inspired by her story. A little over six years ago, she started the organization with just $87, a dream to save pregnant dogs and puppies from kill shelters, and a determination to give them a second chance at life. What started as a grassroots effort has now grown into a thriving organization supported by nearly 150 volunteers. In less than a year after implementing Neon CRM, Path of Hope Rescue has completely transformed its operations: 🐾 Streamlined Fundraising: They launched a recurring giving program in June called Hope Heroes which has over 55 recurring donors, generating $1,500 a month in sustainable revenue. 🐾 Organized and Efficient: Caitlin and her team of volunteers can now better manage their volunteer and donor data in Neon CRM, making day-to-day operations smoother and more impactful. This is a shining example of how the right tools can empower nonprofits to do more good.
