I am thrilled to announce that I’ve been selected to join the judging panel for The Drum Awards experiential category this year. With the entry deadline fast approaching, there’s still time to put in any last-minute submissions. As someone who works closely with our marketing team on our awards submissions, I thought it would be helpful to share my top tips for creating a compelling entry: 1. Capture Attention Early: You only get one chance to make a first impression. Those with a clear, punchy story that grabs attention will stand out. Alongside this, an engaging executive summary is crucial— treat this as the movie trailer which sets the scene for the rest of the entry. 2. Less is More: Avoid unnecessary details. It is more impressive to have a cohesive and considered entry, rather than dragging it out to fill a maximum word count. 3. Results are key: Illustrate the genuine business need you addressed, the campaign objectives, the insight that inspired your big idea and then give us genuine numbers showing why it worked. It’s super important the outcomes link to the objectives. 4. Use Content Effectively: Many judges often watch the video before reading the entry so make sure these are compelling enough to make us want to read on. This can significantly enhance your entry, making the concept more tangible for the judges. Best of luck to all entrants. I’m very much looking forward to reading through this year's submissions. #thedrumawards #industryawards #leadership

Proud to be part of the team and to continue aiming to Greater things. Connecting all local businesses to the right audience by placing them in the middle of it. Not exposing, not aiming with percentage, not covering a large spectrum hoping it hits the right audience somehow. I will put you right on their hands guaranteed they will see you (multiple times if I’m being over-confident) with a fraction of what other “Advertising” businesses charge you. So if you are a business owner in the area or if you know of someone that is, allow me to take you on a very short tour to show you what we do, how we do it and how you can be part of it. I’ll make 3 promises right now: 1. I won’t take more than 30 mins of your time. 2. I will be kicking in at least one discount and up to a max of 3 discounts. 3. I’m buying Coffee ☕️ 📱 702-400-4847 to get into the “MacDonalds Ranch & Highlands Neighbors” Magazine.

The Harsh Truth about Corporate Awards Many corporate awards are no longer earned—they’re bought. With steep nomination fees, sponsorship ties, and questionable selection processes, these accolades often prioritize money over merit. The result? Genuine achievements are overshadowed by companies with deeper pockets due to which public trust erodes. Awards should celebrate true impact, not polished PR or sponsorship deals. When recognition becomes a financial transaction, everyone loses—except those profiting from the system. What’s your take on the “pay-to-play” culture of awards? #CorporateEthics #Leadership
