Under Promise, Over Deliver: When you don’t have a marketing budget, you have to be creative… and take risks. We just had the first exclusive dinner with the EDMUS Club, and it went better than expected. Ingredients are not that simple to gather : • Great location: A 130-year-old restaurant in the heart of Paris (Thank you to the Comptoir de la Gastronomie). But not only: An unique 11-person table dressed in their boutique, just for us. • Great people: Only wine lovers coming from the EDMUS Club. But not only: We had a Master Sommelier (thank you, M. Turpaud) sharing his experience and the secrets of his craft. • Great purpose: Come and taste a unique old vintage. But not only: An avant premiere new beverage — the first bottle opening. (Thanks, EDMUS). This might sound like too much work for just 11 people, but this is who we are. We are small, but we care. It’s very hard work, but you need to acknowledge that’s the way to do it — to respect customers who came from abroad just for that dinner. Is it expensive? Not really. Everyone paid their bill. Just a couple of bottles to bring in your suitcase. Wine is all about sharing and moments. We hope to create more moments like this in the future. Feedback was mind-blowing, especially from the club members who couldn’t make it and saw the pictures on Instagram. the secret is : just do this little extra mile (but not only) Will I do it again? Yes! See you at the end of January in London.
Impressive, great thinking
