As a language tutor, it gives me great when our learners have made great progress in learning the Igbo language. Our learners are doing well and are becoming more comfortable with Igbo every day. Here's how they’ve improved: New Words: They’ve learned many new Igbo words and can use them in everyday conversations. Speaking: Their pronunciation has gotten better, and they’re more confident when speaking Igbo. Listening: Learners now understand spoken Igbo much better and can follow simple conversations. Reading & Writing: They can read and write basic Igbo sentences, showing good understanding of the language. Cultural Awareness: They’ve also learned about Igbo culture, which has made their learning experience more meaningful. Our classes are always one on one and always available. I still remain your favorite Igbo language tutor. #digitaligbotutor #onyenkuzi

As a teacher, I have come to realize that students do not a teacher who is perfect. They need a teacher who is happy to see them, make them get excited with learning and grow a love for learning. Be that teacher. I still remain your favorite Igbo language teacher. #digitaligbotutor #onyenkuzi

A major secret to mastering a language is practical usage. The primary essence of language is communication. Everything else a student knows without being able to communicate is insignificant. At Kids Igbo Class, our primary aim is for students to gain understanding, communication and interaction. We only involve alphabets, Lexis and structure, e.t.c. to the extent that it enhances communication. To achieve this, we: 💎Simulate real-life scenarios and role playing of practical situations of events that can happen at home, in school e.t.c then we teach the proper communication for these scenarios. 💎Have the instructor advantage : our instructors are proficient and provide insights into pronunciation, tones and cultural nuances. 💎Provide a structured setting for Igbo practice , that may not always be possible at home because of the familiarity and informality of the home environment . 💎Provide a supportive community. Students can practice with classmates, which helps them become confident and bold enough to speak Igbo in their regular lives. Just like that, the awkwardness they feel when asked to speak Igbo flies out of the window. The time to enroll your children is now. Send a DM to enroll. Can you beat your chest and say "yes! I can have a full discussion in Igbo Language for 30 mins without adding an English word to it" Let me see you write these words in Igbo "my car is at the mechanic workshop for repair" I am very very sure most of us Igbo's don't even know the meaning of some simple Igbo words and would rather replace it with English word while conversing. Can you be bold and interpret Igbo Language without adding a single English word to it? I am sure you'd love to but you really can't because we have "bastardized" some of our Igbo words/sentences with other foreign languages to suit us or our friends. Start learning how to converse in your mother's tongue for at least 30mins and ask questions if there are words you really don't know or don't remember in Igbo which is where I Amalachukwu comes in as your certified/experienced Igbo Language tutor. Book a session with me today on preply for one on one 50mins Igbo Language class and bombard me with those English words you wish to know their Igbo words and meaning. You can as well refer your friends, family members and colleagues who wish to learn Igbo Language for their personal development and other things. Thank you as you do so😁. Here's the link to click and get that your confidence back again 😀. https://lnkd.in/eif6FaRu #connect #Igbo #connection #preply #Tutoroo #connection

I’ve learned English since elementary school. I started learning English seriously in high school and chose English Education for my Bachelor's Degree in 2022 so I’m familiar with grammar. Mastering grammar gave me opportunities like becoming a Speaker Manager at Tech in Asia and teaching in several Southeast Asian countries. As a teacher, I noticed many students struggle with grammar because of structural differences, like tenses, which don’t exist in Indonesian. Many students don’t get enough practical exposure, and those without access to extra courses often feel lost after years of schooling. Here are 5 unique tips that you should try to master exactly! Developing a strong understanding of grammar empowers me to take bold steps forward and enhance my personal growth, and I want you to feel the same 🤍 Build your confidence in using English accurately by joining IELS Grammar: Basic to Advanced in 2 Hours! Read Aloud: Making English Learning Fun! At QUEST, my Let's Learn English program focuses on building strong fundamentals through phonics, read aloud, and speaking/listening activities. Read aloud isn't just about reading a story - it's about bringing it to life! We use vocal variety (think changing pitch, volume, and pace) to keep children engaged. Here's where things get interactive: we ask 3 types of questions: -Picture Perfect: Questions focused on the illustrations. -Think Aloud: Questions that spark curiosity and critical thinking. -Guessing Game: Questions that encourage predictions and build anticipation. In our bilingual program, we leverage the power of visuals! We first read the story in Marathi (students' native language) showing pictures. Then, we re-read in English, using the familiar pictures to bridge the language gap. We honed our skills with 10-15 books and practiced with children. We even organized a program showcasing read aloud activities for the entire QUEST community! Through QUEST, I've gone beyond just "reading" and discovered the world of shared reading, loud reading, and read aloud - and how each plays a unique role in language learning! #QUEST #Teaching #Literacy #EnglishLearning

"THE TIME IS UP TEACHER, YOU 'CAN' EXIT THE LESSON" I couldn't help but burst out laughing when my student, Özkan, came up with this clever example of the modal verb "can"! It was the perfect ending to our lesson on modal verbs. As an online English teacher, I've had my fair share of exciting experiences, but moments like these make it all worthwhile. I'm grateful for students like Özkan who make learning fun and engaging. If you're interested in improving your English skills, feel free to reach out to me! Here's an excerpt from our lesson on modal verbs, where we explored the different uses of "can" and other modal verbs:👇👇 #EnglishLessons #OnlineLearning #ModalVerbs #Teaching #Learning #EnglishTeacher #StudentLife #lizztalks
