Drake University Law School's rankings have risen this year, and that's something to be proud of! However, we still have work to do. This is the only law school ranking which bears weight with me, as a big-law Partner. Knowing the law schools that the AMLAW 100 hire out of tells you everything you need to know. If we extended out to the AMLAW 200, I suspect that Fordham would be even moreso well regarded (read: higher ranked). If interested in academia, the conventional subjective rankings may be a better guide (though I continue to view the US News rankings as being subjective to the point of absurdity). That being said, however, American Legal Academics tend to come out of the same 10 schools (or is it just four?).
