SIMPLY STATED, LIKE IT OR NOT, A FACT IS A FACT. FACT: Supporting the concept of giving diabetic patients access to free amputation prevention foot screening for neuropathy and nerve disease enables early detection and prompt limb saving amputation preventive treatment. Ignoring this fact through nonsupport allows about 80% of diabetic patients in any given community to be at risk of needless foot and leg amputations. The LEAP Alliance - FootCare America Network (FCAN) amputation prevention collaboration invites any concerned individual or group to explore the funding and creation of a "Bare Your Soles Free Diabetes Foot Screening Program" in their community. You will save limbs and lives. That is a fact.

Specially constructed, perfectly fit, friction and pressure reducing diabetic shoes and inserts can lower the odds of foot and leg amputations by up to 80% in at-risk patients. Yet the average diabetic person has little or no knowledge of their importance, let alone assistance in how they can go about finding out if they are at-risk of foot complications and then obtaining the shoes. That is why the LEAP Alliance is advocating for the creation of community-based free diabetes foot screening events and clinics. Let's screen, assess risk, and help those who need these customized shoes and inserts get them. To help make this happen in your community, email the LEAP Alliance for more information>> information@leapalliance.org.

Benefit to Your Clinic: Offer a pain-managed treatment option for verruca that converts skeptical patients into loyal advocates. Your clinic becomes the go-to provider for tough-to-treat conditions.
