The Seven Days Online National Capacity Building Programme on Judicial Skills and Judgment Writing, organized by the Sambhav Initiative from 20th to 26th October 2024 in partnership with ProBono India was an enriching experience. It provided me with deep insights into various aspects of judicial reasoning, judgment writing, and technical skills essential for the judiciary. Throughout the program, I had the privilege to learn from esteemed resource persons, including: Justice M.R. Shah (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India) on ensuring access to justice. Justice Rajiv Bhalla (Former Judge, High Court of Punjab & Haryana) on judicial skills and analysis. Justice Sudhir Saxena (Former Judge, Allahabad High Court) on the structure of judgments. Justice Rajesh Tandon (Former Judge, High Court of Uttarakhand) on practical judgment writing. Justice G.S. Singhvi (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India) on logic in judicial reasoning. Mr. Hardik Soni (Additional Public Prosecutor, State of Gujarat) on essential technical skills in Indian Judiciary. Justice S.D. Anand (Former Judge, High Court of Punjab & Haryana) on judgment writing style and language. I am immensely grateful to Ms. Hiranshi Shah , Founder of Sambhav Initiative, for organizing such a well-structured and insightful program. Special thanks to all the resource persons for sharing their invaluable knowledge and experiences with us. I look forward to applying these learnings in my future endeavors and contributing meaningfully to the legal field. #JudicialSkills #JudgmentWriting #LegalEducation #CapacityBuilding #SambhavInitiative
