Making a product showcase in video form takes a lot of things into consideration: 📌The video must HOOK the watcher 📌The video must show the PRODUCT 📌The video must contain a CTA (although I cut out the CTA from the video) I used various transitions on Capcut to get these effects. Results: 45% increased watch time 5% increased leads 27% increased website visit I love telling a story using product showcases. I get pitched dozens of times a day via email, LinkedIn, texts, and calls—it’s overwhelming. That said, I’m making it a point to leverage my network—people who know me—to carve out time to learn about Nift and why I joined. I’m incredibly bullish on Nift for Restaurants, which I've been working closely on with Brian Siemienas (ex-Darden, Margaritaville, and Hard Rock marketing leader). Together, we’re helping restaurants drive meaningful engagement with new customers, creating surprise-and-delight moments, while also growing their first-party data and capturing actual in-store customers through Nift. The challenge, though, is the ever-changing way to get people’s attention. It feels like there’s an equation showing the growing problem: (+1) thingamajigs being sold each day + (-1) decision makers’ willingness to give their time each day Every day, there’s another gadget, gizmo, or service being pitched through every channel to decision-makers, which directly correlates to people becoming more closed off to taking a new call or meeting a new person.. which in turn ends up screwing the 'good guys/gals' (yes I truly believe I am one of them, as I only stand behind and sell what I believe in). The only solution I’ve found to breaking through is connections (which is why attending conferences is so powerful to cutting through a lot of the above). Connections, connections, connections—those who know me, trust me, and have worked with me, willing to introduce me to one of their connections and help open a door for just a few minutes. That’s the name of the game. It’s a slow, zig-zag process, but it’s the only way that truly works. Has anyone seen something else work outside of the usual spray-and-pray methods and the increasingly ridiculous amounts of automation and AI-assisted outreach?
