Over the few years, I have been immersed in an intense training and experiences, and it’s been a rollercoaster ride with both rewarding moments and tough challenges. 🚀 One of the highlights of this journey has been gaining deeper insights into oil and gas operations, an area I have come to appreciate more and more. Every day, I am learning new concepts, applying them in real-world scenarios, and seeing how this knowledge impacts the way we work. The progress I have made so far has been fulfilling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to grow. 💡 But let’s be real – this hasn’t been a walk in the park. I have had my fair share of sleepless nights trying to wrap my head around some of the more complex concepts, especially in oil and gas operations. There were moments when the learning curve felt almost insurmountable, and I had to push myself harder than ever before. But these challenges taught me one very important lesson: True growth happens when you embrace discomfort and refuse to give up. 💪 Along the way, I have been fortunate to learn not just from formal training but also behind the scenes from everyone i have worked with. 💡 Growth Mindset 💡 🚀 I am delighted to share that I have successfully completed the course "Certificate in International Oil & Gas Business Management: Augmented Decision-Making from Wellhead to Consumer" offered by Glomacs. This course was an intensive and comprehensive program that covered the key aspects of the oil and gas business, from exploration and production to refining and marketing. Some of the learning outcomes of this course were: ·        Understanding the global oil and gas value chain and the factors that influence its performance and profitability. ·        Applying strategic management tools and frameworks to analyze the opportunities and challenges in the oil and gas sector. ·        Developing effective decision-making skills and techniques to optimize the allocation of resources and maximize the value creation. ·        Learning from the best practices and case studies of leading oil and gas companies and organizations. I would like to thank the instructor, Dr. Babak Jafarizadeh, for his excellent delivery and guidance throughout the course. Confirmed training! Few seats left Well Abandonment is commonly the largest cost element of decommissioning and often results in significant cost overrun. However, adoption of good practises and lessons learnt from the growing portfolio of operations completed to date, have shown significant improvements in job duration and non-productive time. In addition, lessons learnt in job design can be used to ensure abandonment barrier quality, minimising the risk of future environmental impact and liability for costly remedial well re-entry. Conducted by a Specialist from UK, he draws on his extensive exposure to well abandonment design, planning and execution, bringing experience from projects in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, SE Asia, Australia, Brazil and South Africa. The masterclass will include real life examples of good and poor practises to highlight how the specific challenges of abandonment can be confidently managed to give high quality isolation barriers while maintaining cost control.
