I recently learned there is a term for what I do. Fractional leadership! This practice brings in experienced executives or managers to fill part-time or short-term leadership roles. Fractional leaders are often brought in during times of transition, crisis, or when a permanent hire isn't immediately possible. This is the role I have for Urban League of Kansas and Kansel. I think I leave a lot of people confused about what exactly I do because of the multiple hats I wear. Now you know...and now I know there is a name for what I do.
