A Long Journey with More Ahead It's inspiring to witness the progress we've made in the cannabis reform conversation. After years of advocacy, it's now being recognized on a national platform, and this moment feels like an acknowledgment of the hard work so many have put into changing perceptions. I sense a modicum of respect finally being afforded to those who have tirelessly championed education, reform, and awareness. That said, we still have a long way to go. The ongoing debates around hemp and cannabis policy further complicate the landscape, but they’re also forcing the issue to the forefront. One thing is clear—cannabis isn’t going away. It’s time for society to address it head-on, to fully understand its potential, and to create policies that reflect this evolving reality. The message is clear: deal with it, and FIGHT ON!!! #CannabisReform #HempDebate #AdvocacyMatters #PolicyChange #CannabisEducation

Another bad California bill dealing with cannabis policy has come to our attention. AB 111 is just a bad idea. Farmers Markets should remain a safe space for families and kids, not a venue for cannabis sale. Cannabis belongs in licensed environments, away from young eyes. AB 1111 would threaten public health by flooding communities with cannabis marketing. Research (including our own!) shows higher retailer density leads to increased use among teens & during pregnancy (this is why we "score" localities on density in our annual cannabis policy scorecards). Let's protect our youth, limit access (esp. to high potency products like the ones that would be sold at Farmer's Markets if this bill becomes law), prevent excessive use, and keep our communities healthy! We urge the California Senate to vote no! #CALeg #Cannabis #PublicHealth #YouthHealth #FarmersMarkets

With only days until the election, it doesn’t matter if you’re Red or Blue…. Both parties are going GREEN! No, not THAT green, we're talking CANNABIS green! Cannabis is on the ballot in five states: Florida, North and South Dakota, Nebraska and Oregon (for unionization). And Massachusetts continues to be forward-thinking by putting the legality of natural psychedelics up to a public vote. Let’s all continue to educate our fellow citizens on the health and wellness benefits of cannabis versus the non-stop poison being churned out from big pharma. If you’re looking to go beyond just casting a vote, check out how you can invest in the industry with MSO. With more than 170 cannabis projects under our belt, we’re leading the way in building the infrastructure necessary to drive the industry. #MSOforCannabis #CannabisInfrastructure #CannabisforWellness

FLORIDA! If you smoke the hippie herb, that ganja green, or some Tr*lieve mids...do you know what's really going on in the Sunshine State?! In this latest WEIRDOS piece for High Times, I broke down the many complicated layers of Florida's campaign for Amendment 3 and the Adult Use Cannabis Initiative. "A recent poll surveyed 56% of #Florida voters support this recreational bill, just shy of the 60% voter approval required for this Florida Amendment to pass. Not every legal ca**abis state requires this voter approval rate, but only three states have been able to exceed it – Arizona, New Jersey, and Maryland. Will Florida follow suit? #Amendment3 makes no mention of expungement of prior ca**abis records or social equity reform. Home growing is not allowed in this initiative either – which is one of the many factors in this bill that have many of us in the Sunshine State conflicted.." 🐊 Thank you HIGH TIMES for holding the space! To mark this most special (and stressful) American day, Embarc has created POTlitico - a satirical weed site for everyone who needs to take the edge off today! As you may remember from our Devil’s Lettuce campaign, we like to have fun at Embarc. Fun like: ‘Millennials Seek Cannabis Relief for Oregon Trail-Induced Anxiety Flashbacks’ 😅 ‘Trump and Kamala Face Off in Record-Breaking Hot Knife Dab-Off Competition’ 😮💨 ‘LinkedIn CEO Regrets Allowing Cannabis Content on Platform’ 🫣 For us, outdated stigma around cannabis is a continuous source of humor. Embarc's entire mission is to normalize cannabis and open access. A HUGE part of that is done via legislation. Just today— Nebraska North Dakota South Dakota Florida —are all going to the polls to vote on cannabis legislation. Whether your team wins The Big Vote or not, if you’re in this industry, you’ll all be routing for more states legalizing. So get out and vote. Make your voice heard. Laugh at the B.S. (Weed helps with that btw….) Let me know what you think of the site and what your favorite story is! Link in comments. Stay sane! #cannabis #cannabismarketing #marketing

As we usher in the era of decriminalization in Germany. I have my essentials ready for today. Revel in the freedom, dear recreational users, but let us not forget our duty to be respectful towards those who don't partake, especially the children. It's time we challenge and change the world's perception of cannabis consumers. We are not the stereotype, but respectful individuals. Let's embrace this change, hoping it ushers in a wave of positivity. Remember, the world is watching. Let's make every moment count! #DecriminalizationGermany #CannabisFreedom #RespectfulUsage #ChangingPerceptions #CannabisPatients #RecreationalUse #Responsibility #PositiveChange #WorldIsWatching #CannabisCommunity #CannabisCulture #MarijuanaMovement #WeedWisdom #CannabisAwareness #EndCannabisStigma #TimeForChange #CannabisIsMedicine #CannabisLife #CannabisSociety

This is the result of #prohibition. The evidence shows clearly that wherever politicians use this proven-to-fail policy the result they achieve is exactly the opposite to that intended. On the other hand, wherever adult-use legal regulation of #cannabis has been implemented, underage use goes down. No more clearly seen than in Colorado where according to its 'Healthy Kids' programme, 30% fewer teens now use cannabis than before legalisation in 2012. Closer to home, since the Netherlands implemented its unofficial 'tolerance' policy 'gedogen' in 1974 allowing adults to purchase up to five grams from coffee shops, underage use has been consistently and substantially less than in the UK. When our politicians stop posturing as 'tough on drugs' and enact intelligent policies based on evidence, this problem can be solved. #drugspolicy
