With my first MJBizCon now in the books, here’s what stood out to me. I went into MJBizCon with the best intentions to post regular updates, but I’ll admit—I was completely shattered at the end of each day. The sheer scale and energy of one of the world’s largest cannabis conference was overwhelming but also awesome in every way. As my first MJBizCon, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Although I heard this year’s event was smaller than previous years—likely a reflection of the ongoing consolidation in the market—it still felt massive. There was so much to see and a lot of great people to meet and learn from. One thing that stood out to me was how technologies that were being dismissed at past conferences have now become mainstream. For example, inter-canopy lighting (ICL) or under canopy light (UCL) is now being widely adopted, with every major lighting company showcasing their own offerings. Even more exciting is the research into its effectiveness, showing just how quickly this industry evolves when innovation meets perseverance. Another major highlight for me was the focus on drying and curing. The importance of preserving terpenes and extending the crop’s longevity before sale is clearly gaining attention. Schools of thought in this area are being challenged, and new research is emerging. I have no doubt this will be one of the hottest topics in the coming years as the industry continues to refine our processes for quality and consistency. MJBizCon wasn’t just about the technology and trends—it was about the people. Every conversation reinforced the passion, knowledge, and drive within this community. It’s inspiring to be part of an industry with so much potential and such a willingness to share and collaborate. To everyone I connected with, thank you for making my first MJBizCon so memorable. I’m already looking forward to next year and continuing to build the relationships created from this trip. #CannabisIndustry #Cannabis #GoldenDaysCultivators

Happy 420 Eve! Many of you will be hosting events and engaging with your #community in some way tomorrow. Here's some tips on how to connect beyond the sale: One of my favorite things to do as a marketer is find common threads. No matter the dynamic between the groups I'm trying to link together, there are universal truths or what I like to call *sparks* that ignite conversation, action and time invested. Here's one - Personal Preference / Opinion-Based Controversy Examples in marketing: Does pineapple belong on pizza? 🍍🍕 (Domino's) Still don't know if Ross cheat or ... 💔? 😭 (Friends) Best 🌿 in Michigan? 🤔👀 (Cannabiz) Can I just match with strains instead? 😅🌿 If I hosted a Bud Machelor, which strain would I FMK? ♥️👰🏼♀️🔪 (Lifestyle Cannabis - Joking about Online Dating) What sparks exist in the communities you serve? The more sparks, the stronger relationship, loyalty and ultimately profitability you have. 😎 #cannabis #cannabiz #cannabiscommunity

DISCOUNT CODE - OSINCC13 As Corvain Cooper, co-founder of the 40 Tons Foundation, put it: “Last year, we brought a life-sized prison cell to the conference to highlight the hypocrisy of an industry profiting from the same plant that has caused people to be locked away for decades. This year, we’re paying it forward by empowering justice-impacted brands.” Why Equity Row Matters: • It’s more than a showcase—it’s a movement to support justice-impacted entrepreneurs and highlight the need for equity in cannabis. • It’s about breaking stigmas, challenging norms, and pushing for inclusion across every layer of the industry. • It’s an opportunity for investors, supply chain partners, and thought leaders to connect with innovative brands that embody strength and transformation. 📅 December 3-6, 2024 📍 Las Vegas Convention Center Let’s drive this conversation forward and ensure that the future of cannabis reflects the diversity and power of its community. “The Post-Harvest Puzzle: A Critical Piece of Cannabis Success” The cannabis industry is evolving at lightning speed, but one area that often doesn’t get the attention it deserves is post-harvest operations. From ensuring quality and consistency to managing tight deadlines and regulatory compliance, post-harvest can feel like walking a tightrope. For many companies, it’s not just about trimming flower—it’s about maintaining the terpene profile, optimizing yields, and streamlining processes to stay competitive. Yet, challenges like inefficient workflows, equipment breakdowns, and lack of trained staff often stand in the way. That’s where I step in. With over a decade of experience in the cannabis industry, I help businesses simplify and perfect their post-harvest operations. Whether it’s training your team on the Mobius M108S, improving trim processes, or keeping your operations efficient and transparent, my goal is to take the stress out of post-harvest so you can focus on growing your business. As we wrap up the year and celebrate the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank everyone working tirelessly to push this industry forward. Post-harvest may be challenging, but together we can make it better. 🎄Happy Holidays to all my connections!🎄 If you’ve been struggling with any part of your post-harvest process, let’s connect. Together, we can find solutions that not only work but help your operation thrive. What challenges have you faced in post-harvest? Let’s talk about it—drop your thoughts in the comments or reach out directly. 🌱 #CultivaPostHarvestSolutions #CannabisIndustry #CommercialCannabisCultivation #Cultiva #PostHarvestSolutions #MobiusM108s #Mobius #Gratitude #MachineTraining #HappyHolidays
