🌡️ Innovative Heat Stroke Treatment with CarbonCool® Heat stroke is a life-threatening condition requiring immediate cooling to prevent irreversible damage. A recent study highlights the effectiveness of CarbonCool® in treating elderly patients with severe heat stroke. Study Summary: - Objective: Evaluate CarbonCool® as a rapid cooling intervention in prehospital settings. - Methods: Retrospective review of two elderly patients with severe heat stroke treated with CarbonCool®. - Results: - Patient 1: 90-year-old woman’s body temperature dropped from 42.0°C to 35.8°C in 60 minutes. - Patient 2: 70-year-old man’s body temperature dropped from 41.2°C to 36.6°C in 196 minutes. - Conclusion: CarbonCool® provided rapid and effective cooling, allowing concurrent medical procedures and showing marked improvement in patient outcomes without invasive procedures. CarbonCool® is a game-changer in prehospital heat stroke management, significantly improving patient outcomes.
