You know what really isn't helpful to freelancers? People in full-time employment, telling them how hard things are at the moment. If you really want to help people who are self-employed just make sure you're engaging with any post that asks for freelance support. At least then there's a higher chance your network will see it and people might actually find some work. #freelancer #selfemployed #newbusiness

Freelancers: "I want to charge more." Also freelancers: sends proposal without any social proof When I started, my portfolio was as empty as my bank account. But here's what changed everything for me: I stopped thinking about "what I can offer" and started focusing on "what I can prove I've delivered." The difference? • "I can write great content" = meh • "Here's how my content helped Client X get 150% more traffic" = now we're talking You don't need 10 years of experience to charge more. You need proof that your work delivers results. And if you don't have that yet? Create it: - Start a newsletter - Build a niche blog - Create case studies of your own projects - Document your wins, no matter how small Because when a client asks "Why should I pay you more?" Your answer shouldn't be "Because I'm good." It should be "Here's proof I'm worth it." Have a great week ahead! 💚 #freelance

Freelancers, how often do you turn down work? It’s not always easy, but knowing when to say no is just as important as knowing when to say yes - or so they say. This is something I am still learning. It might seem counterintuitive, but saying “no” is quite the strategic business move. And I’m not even talking about those jobs that want a freelancer to work 40 hours a week in the office (spoiler alert, that ain’t a freelance role). No, I mean when there are: Conflicting schedules Mismatched expectations Concerns with fit Potential clients, this is also good for you - I take on projects that align with my skills, values, and goals, and that I have time and space to complete to the best of my ability. Sometimes I have to say no. For me, the issue is almost always capacity, but sometimes I just don’t think I will be the right fit for you. In these cases, I almost always try to find future opportunities where we might be aligned. —- How do you navigate these decisions as a freelancer? Let me know your tips! #worklife #freelancer #freelancelife #careeradvice

Hey everyone! I’m considering offering free support to 5-10 people who are either looking to escape their 9-5 and transition into freelancing or are current freelancers facing some challenges. I’ll work with them over 5 one-hour VIP calls, completely free and no strings attached. The goal is to help you create a €500+/day freelance unique offer. By the end, they'll have clear understanding of what they offer, why it’s valuable, and how to position themselves so clients see them as the obvious choice. They’ll walk away with a customized offer that highlights their unique skills and is exactly what their ideal clients are looking for. What do you think about it? Does this sound like a good way to help people make that jump? If you know anyone who might be interested, please let me know!
