Honoring Patriot Day Today, we observe Patriot Day, a solemn day of remembrance for the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Established by a joint resolution of Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush in December 2001, Patriot Day honors the nearly 3,000 victims of the tragic attacks and recognizes the bravery of the first responders and ordinary citizens who risked their lives to save others. On this day, we reflect on the resilience and unity that emerged from such profound loss. We remember the courage and selflessness displayed and reaffirm our commitment to the values of freedom and democracy that define our nation. Call to Action: Moment of Silence: At 8:46 AM, the time the first plane struck the North Tower, observe a moment of silence to honor the victims. Volunteer: Engage in community service to honor the spirit of unity and service. Support First Responders: Express gratitude to local first responders and support organizations that assist them. Educate and Reflect: Share stories and lessons learned from 9/11 with younger generations. Let’s come together to honor and remember, and to continue to build a future rooted in unity and resilience. #PatriotDay #NeverForget #September11 #HonorTheFallen #FirstResponders #Unity #Resilience #ServiceAndSacrifice #AmericanHeroes

Honoring Bill of Rights Day: Defending Our God-Given Rights On Bill of Rights Day, we commemorate the foundational freedoms that define the United States—freedoms that are endowed by God, not granted by the government. The first ten amendments were designed to protect these inherent rights from government overreach. Our forefathers crafted the Bill of Rights to ensure individual liberties and prevent tyranny, grounding the protection of free speech, religion, the right to bear arms, and much more in the belief that these rights are unalienable. Today, we celebrate the freedoms we hold dear and reaffirm our commitment to defend them for future generations. Let's take time to: ✅ Reflect on the importance of these rights ✅ Support organizations that protect freedom ✅ Honor the sacrifices of our veterans who fought to defend them The fight to preserve liberty is ongoing, and it’s up to each of us to ensure these rights endure. #BillofRightsDay #Freedom #Liberty #GodGivenRights #Constitution #Veterans #CivilLiberties #ProtectOurRights

Remembering 9/11 on Patriot Day: A Personal Reflection on Unity and Resilience Today, on Patriot Day, we mark 23 years since the September 11th attacks. I still vividly remember being in 9th grade when my entire class was suddenly evacuated without explanation. School buses were waiting, and we were sent home. When I arrived, my parents were in front of the TV, watching as billowing clouds of smoke rose from the Twin Towers in New York City. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the magnitude of what was happening, but I knew America was in trouble. We were evacuated because we were near a military base, and with Washington D.C. just an hour away—another target had been hit. In 2018, I was in New York City on September 11th, and I remember walking through Chinatown, where fireworks were set off in honor of the victims. It startled me, but it was a reminder of the profound loss and the resilience of those who survived and those who risked their lives. Now, on September 11th, 2024, our country feels more divided than ever, especially after the recent presidential debates. There’s so much vitriol from both sides of the political aisle. But today, on Patriot Day, it's crucial to remember that unity is more powerful than clinging to extremes. We must continue honoring those who sacrificed on 9/11 and the countless heroes who continue to serve. Living in Nevada, I’ve come to appreciate the independent spirit of Nevadans. We don’t shy away from recognizing how fortunate we are to be in America, despite its flaws. Today, let’s reflect on how, as a country, we can come together again—just as we did after 9/11. Let’s take this day to remember, unite, and work toward a future where unity is our greatest strength. #NeverForget #PatriotDay #September11 #Unity #Resilience #America
