Legacy Founder and Past President, Mike Dunlap recalls… “In the early 90’s, I had the opportunity to work on an audit for a community foundation in San Diego and fell in love with the whole concept of their mission and function behaving like a ‘savings bank’ meant to help improve a whole community. I knew something like this was needed in North County. When I asked a few friends to join me in exploring the idea, things just came together quickly.”
