Scott will be speaking on How to Leverage Technology and Prepare Your Children for a Life Worth Living. When it comes to technology, the key word here is "leverage." In our modern technological age, parents often struggle to effectively navigate the use of technology in their child's education. On one side, there is the ditch of "huddle and cuddle," viewing technology as a danger to avoid. On the other side of the path, there is the ditch of "acquiescing to the inevitable tyranny" of technology. So where are the boundaries and what are the guidelines? Hint: the answer lies partially in first adopting a proper educational philosophy i.e., education must be accomplished for the right purpose—preparing our children for a life worth living.
