Let's face it: Legal content often feels like a marathon you want to sprint away from. But what if we told you there's a way to make even the most daunting legal documents a breeze to read? 🏃♂️💨 At Amurabi, we thrive on challenges, especially when it comes to transforming complex legal jargon into something digestible and engaging. Recently, we teamed up with Citeo, a mission-driven company dedicated to environmental protection, to tackle a mountain of legal content. 🌱📜 And the result? Well, Aurélien BERNARD, their senior project manager, had our deliverable reviewed by Citeo’s board, and here’s what they said: “Bravo! 70 pages long—and didn't once feel the urge to skip a page. Mission accomplished: a crystal-clear legal document that’s enjoyable to read!” 🤯📖 How did we pull off this feat? Through our unwavering commitment to #legaldesign and #legalUX. By infusing passion, independence, and uncompromising quality into every aspect of our work, we turned the dry legal text into a smooth, clear, and dare we say, enjoyable read. 🎉💼 Aurélien himself was kind enough to highlight three key strengths of our collaboration: 🔸 Our relentless passion for making the law accessible to all 🔸 Our fearless independence in design choices 🔸 And the impeccable quality of our final deliverables This feedback isn't just a pat on the back; it's a testament to the transformative power of legal design. It proves that even the most intricate legal concepts can be presented in a way that resonates with readers and inspires understanding. 🌟💬 We're beyond thrilled about our partnership with Citéo and the opportunity to make their legal approach as accessible and impactful as possible. Together, we're breaking down barriers, one page at a time. And we're already launching the second project! 💥🌳 Join us on this journey to empower yourself with the knowledge you deserve! Double news alert: Legal 500 is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2025 editions of the Green Guide United States, Latin America, United Kingdom and Asia Pacific! This completes our third cycle of research for the Green Guide – huge congratulations to all firms who have featured in the guide with their key contributions towards the green transition and a more sustainable planet! Simultaneously, we’re extremely excited to share news about our new Green Ambassadors reporting in Legal Business Magazine. The Green Guide’s brand-new research will recognise top lawyers championing sustainability in major markets across the world. Watch this space for a preview of what’s to come! 2024 has been a significant year for the legal sector in Asia Pacific, as the need for a green transition continues to be felt in an increasing number of economies and industries across the region. Also in Latin America, for many current governments, prioritising the green transition has become a driving force for change, positioning the region as a crucial contributor to the global sustainable development agenda. Meanwhile, the US presents a mixed landscape of sustainability efforts, where the anti-ESG postures of certain stakeholders, states, and Attorney Generals contrast with a vibrant net-zero financing regime and a rich environmental credit market. The UK’s legal sector continued to navigate evolving climate change, sustainability, and ESG challenges, and despite the absence of specific UK ESG regulations, various pieces of legislation in the UK and the EU have a significant impact. For full access to our 2025 Green Guides, go to our Global Green Hub at https://lnkd.in/eAZhUy_n Interested in participating in our new Green Ambassadors research? 🚀Design thinking in the legal team of a Bavarian governmental start-up: Practical insights 💬 Join us for the next Legal Design Roundtable on 18/03/24 at 5PM (CET) with a keynote speech by Ines Curtius. Ines Curtius will give an overview and practical insights in using and adapting design thinking principles in the legal and procurement team of a Bavarian governmental startup. She will share insights how Design thinking faces common challenges such as resistance to change and the need for cross-functional collaboration in both the public and private sectors. Public entities deal with additional hurdles, such as stricter legal constraints and a focus on public welfare, which influence their approach to design thinking differently than the profit-driven private sector. Moreover, attracting and retaining skilled talent for design thinking roles is particularly challenging for the public sector. She will describe how also public organizations must foster a culture open to change and innovation, tailoring design thinking strategies to fit specific legal, operational, and objective frameworks for its successful application across sectors. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, network, and be part of the future of legal innovation. Looking forward to seeing you there! #legaldesign #designthinking #legaltech #futureoflaw #inhouselegal #lawfirms #LegalInnovation

Is your website contributing to the success of your ESG strategy? The likely answer is no unless you happen to be Linklaters, Gowling WLG, Watson Farley & Williams and a handful of other firms according to the latest Carbon Emissions report (https://lnkd.in/ef8ha67W) that Simon P MARSHALL launched last week. Why is this the concern of BD people? Or indeed partners who are tasked with securing new business? We know that clients are looking for evidence-based ESG credentials when selecting law firms, and there is a solid argument for having a clear and coherent statement in each and every pitch proposal, pitch deck and credentials document that responds to this point. When I’ve worked on pitches and beauty parade preparations, I have always ensured that the pitch team (or lead partner) provides a clear outline of the firms’ strategy, documented actions, evidence and key stats. Providing tangible examples of ESG is a critical part of winning new business – clients want to be reassured that their values and culture match with yours, but also that you are as committed as they are to climate action and improving the quality of life for the next generation. Digital teams therefore have the chance to input their views to the strategy and by adding a USP to proposals by showing how green the firm’s website is. A few key takeaways from me: 🌱💡 Switch the power source of your website to green energy. 📊📈 Check where you rank in the report and share the findings with your leadership team and internal audiences, if you need to improve use the Carbon Emissions report as leverage to effect change. 🏅📄 If you rank highly, add this as evidence to your ESG statement and pitch deck/credentials library. 💼🌍🔗 When partners are pitching, suggest they post about the firms’ culture and ESG commitments – noting the ‘green-ness’ of the website and providing a link can and will generate a client or prospect to click through, therefore adding further brand-building weight to your pitch process. We hope you find the report useful, Simon can provide a more detailed analysis of your firm’s ranking (which could be useful if you are building a business case to refresh your website or are speaking to agencies about upgrading your current site) and provide further advice on how to make your site compliant for accreditations such as B Corp and ISO. #SimonSays #ESGStrategy #LawFirmMarketing #BCorp #ClientEngagement

How green is your law firm website? It’s a question we wanted to know the answer to… so we wrote a report about it which you can download for free here: https://lnkd.in/eSm_Jb3q For top 200 UK law firms, you’re already ranked in here. For everyone else, you can benchmark yourselves against them. Or we can do it for you. We hope that you find it useful and thought provoking. What’s clear is that, as an industry, we have a lot of work to do. Including on our own website at TBD Marketing Ltd. #netzero #marketing #esg #lawfirms #SimonSays https://lnkd.in/eSm_Jb3q
