"All the Business Hubs in Bengaluru are sea-facing for the next week" The heavy rains in Bangalore are no joke, and safety is our top priority. With the downpour in full swing, many of us are taking refuge at home, turning the usual office grind into a work-from-home day. While we adjust to the rhythm of rain and remote work, let’s ensure we stay productive while staying safe indoors. To everyone in Bangalore, please take care on the roads if you have to head out, and let’s get through this together! #BangaloreRains #StaySafe #WFHLife #LegendOutdoorAdvertising #MonsoonSafety

An interesting slightly frustrating observation, I've been living in Bangalore for a few years now. Originally from Bengal, it takes me about 2 hours to reach home from Bangalore, which is ironically the same amount of time it takes me to get to my office here, thanks to Bangalore's traffic! No matter how far you live during peak hours, it feels like a never-ending journey. Unless you are Superman and can fly, there's no way to avoid the traffic mess. To reach the office on time, you need to leave at least 2 to 3 hours early, regardless if the distance is 6 or 16. you are practically forced to move closer to your office every time you change jobs. Well I will be honest initially it was fun- new people, new neighbors, a new home—but after a few times, it just became exhausting and a bit sad. Despite living in Bangalore for several years, I still can't find a place to call home. You end up living out of boxes because you never know when the next move will come. Bangalore has given me a lot, but it has also taken a lot. Though it's been a rollercoaster journey but still interesting. Looking forward to what more this city has in store for me. Does anyone else have similar experiences or tips to share on finding some stability in this ever-moving city? #BangaloreDiaries #CityLife #TrafficWoes #ConstantMoving #NewBeginnings #keepsmiling

Some interesting traffic updates from Bangalore and other cities in the last 2 days leading to this long weekend... In peak hours this week (Monday, Tuesday) traffic in BLR was about 14.9% slower. Even though based on our data, over 60% people did not go to office, either leaves or WFH. We believe it was partly due to rains and roadwork, but partly also because a lot of people traveled out of city for the longish weekend and upcoming Rakshabandhan. Today however, we observed that traffic in Bangalore was over 17.4% faster than usual. We expect to see a lot of "Road" on 16th as well. We also expect a lot of congestion in BLR on 19th as residents come back from their long weekend. Other cities: Hyderabad also experienced about 16% more sluggishness The long weekend in Mumbai and NCR had almost no impact on traffic, except for some areas in Delhi where traffic was about 48% slower possibly due to I-Day related restrictions. Happy Independence day (hopefully from traffic some day)! MoveInSync

#NammaBengaluru #NeedPeopleAwareness #NotClickbaitTweets How disappointing it's to even read this!? Who is playing the card here? I just don't understand it! The ones who live in a place and the system are always blamed when something changes, even if it's the weather. I don't want to get into the system now because that becomes political, but it's disheartening to know that if I were a Bangalorean who was born and raised there, who made Bangalore his home and built his house there, and now you say oh now Bangaloreans no longer can play weather card?! No, they don't! They don't need to begin with...! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Bangalore has never called anyone from other places through open invitations to anyone, "Please come to Bangalore". We moved to Bangalore for our personal reasons, we moved to Bangalore for our jobs, our careers. Everything was fine until everything started to dwindle, including your start-ups and people moving to Bangalore from all over. But as soon as the city began to collapse under the weight of the burdens and problems we had created, we found ourselves incessantly moaning and complaining... Namma Bengaluru is always a beautiful and pleasant city. If something has gone wrong or is still going wrong, blame us! Blame me! No one will ever talk about their role or contribution to the city because they are unable to contribute meaningfully to Bangalore or nature despite having lived here for 20 years as mentioned in the tweet!! Statements like these simply imply that we are all playing the victim card and using it as a shield to hide our own failure in saving the beautiful and glorious city of "Namma Bengaluru" #NammaBengaluru #NeedPeopleAwareness #NotClickbaitTweets

A Punekar’s time in Bangalore. While we were caught in the infamous Bangalore traffic yesterday, with sudden rains causing traffic woes even more, I discovered mornings are pleasant. Away from traffic snarls and horns and back-to-back jammed vehicles, today’s morning walk introduced me to a rather quiet Bangalore neighborhood. While Bangalore certainly boasts strong tech infrastructure, sprawling campuses, and vibrant residential hubs, the absence of proper road infrastructure that I have heard, and also witnessed in my visits raised some critical questions from commuters’ POV: How will Bangalore survive the coming decade? Will the office crowd continue to patiently travel to office? How can the city continue sustain its growth and attract foreign investments? Will the companies pull out and move to other destinations like Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore? (Or has it already started?) Strong road infrastructure isn’t just about solving traffic—it’s essential for a city’s economic growth, supporting businesses, talent, and daily productivity. Let’s hope the “Silicon Valley of India” leads the way, not just in tech but in tackling its traffic woes. - A concerned Punekar #bangalore #trafficwoes #punekar #traveldiaries

Yes, some IT professionals are leaving Bengaluru………. due to water and traffic issues. For example, one tech professional has moved to his hometown because of a water shortage in his apartment complex. His employer also has a no-work-from-home policy, so he has to stay with friends in South Bengaluru to attend office meetings. These issues have led some to move to other cities, like Hyderabad and Pune, which have better infrastructure. The city's reputation as a global tech hub and magnet for multinational corporations is also threatened by these issues. Other factors that have led to the shift of India's IT industry away from Bengaluru include remote work and infrastructure challenges. Six other cities have emerged as mature technology hubs: Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. However, the growth of these hubs is tapering due to these factors. What do you think???🤔 Comment your thoughts…. Ram Dey #bengaluru #bengaluruwatercrisis #wfh

Keeping up with the trend, global tech giants continue to take up large amounts of office space in Bangalore, indicating that the flourishing IT sector is subsequently driving up real estate demand. Along with tech players, BFSI companies and flex operators have also contributed to the scaling demand. With the infusion of new supply to keep up with the demand, vacancy levels are anticipated to be rangebound. Sankey Prasad FRICS speaks with The Economic Times on the potential of the Bangalore real estate market. The South Indian cities of Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad collectively drove Grade A office demand, comprising 62% of the gross leasing in the top six cities of the country. Driven by technology, automobile, engineering, manufacturing, flexible workspace operators, life sciences, and BFSI players, the office market in the South has been gaining rapid momentum. This significant growth can be largely attributed to lower rentals, improving infrastructure, and the availability of professional talent. Arpit Mehrotra shares more about where the South India office sector is headed- https://ow.ly/CiwS50S86kv Learn more about our #officeservices capabilities: https://ow.ly/yqp250S86kw #ColliersIndia #IndiaRealEstate #officeleasing #CRE #hyderabad #chennai #Bengaluru

Bangalore, also known as Bengaluru, has seen significant growth in its real estate sector over the past few years. Factors contributing to this growth include: 1. **IT and Tech Industry Boom**: As a major IT hub, Bangalore attracts a large number of professionals, increasing the demand for both residential and commercial properties. 2. **Infrastructure Development**: Improvements in infrastructure, such as the expansion of the metro network and better road connectivity, have made previously remote areas more accessible and attractive for development. 3. **Educational Institutions**: The presence of numerous prestigious educational institutions has led to increased demand for housing, particularly in areas near these institutions. 4. **Startup Ecosystem**: Bangalore’s thriving startup culture has fueled demand for office spaces, co-working spaces, and residential properties for entrepreneurs and employees. 5. **Government Initiatives**: Policies and initiatives by the government to promote real estate development and investment have also played a crucial role. Specific areas experiencing notable growth include Whitefield, Electronic City, Hebbal, Sarjapur Road, and Devanahalli. The ongoing and planned infrastructure projects, such as the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor and Peripheral Ring Road, are expected to further boost real estate growth in the city. #thepebblestone #realestate #bangalorerealestategrowth #celebraterealty

**The Growing Distrust in Metro Cities and Corporate Life** In metro cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore , gurgaon etc it’s getting harder to trust anyone. Whether at work or in everyday life, people are constantly worried about being fooled. Everyone seems more focused on their own interests, and it feels like we’re always watching our backs. In offices, teamwork and collaboration are often clouded by suspicion. No one fully trusts their colleagues, and it’s exhausting to keep second-guessing every interaction. The same thing is happening in cities—people are quick to cheat, grab your money, and take advantage of any situation. Even simple transactions or services come with the fear of being tricked. Is this really how we want to live—always being cautious and not knowing who to trust? How do you deal with this growing distrust in both corporate life and city living? #CorporateCulture #MetroCities #WorkplaceChallenges #CityLife #BangaloreLife #HyderabadLife #UrbanLif #CunningCulture #Leadership #TrustInWorkplac #LifeInCities #UrbanChallenges
