As a long-time customer and having the pleasure of walking your plant floor in Twin Falls, Idaho before the acquisition, I am having difficulty being convinced that only the packaging is smaller. Not the point - we talk about code here. I picked up about a dozen of these at a local convenience store to check them out. Checking code as we do here, I noticed a very faint code printed on the edge of the packaging. Best By date is fine. The rest of the code - not legible. Looks like the printhead on a thermal transfer printer isn't hitting the packaging hard enough. Possibly challenged by the high speeds of the production line. But notice the Red Circle. Marketing left a great space to print the code.......... They even pre-printed "Best By" on the packaging. And provided a great knockout area to print the info you need. So what's the deal? Switch this to CIJ (Continuous InkJet Printing) and you'd: - Save significantly on ribbon cost. - Print a clean and legible code every time. - Hit the knockout area of the packaging that marketing was so kind to include. 🤔 Noticed the front of the package reminding us fine consumers that this is a Smaller Wrapper, Same Size Bar. Did some research and each bar was and continues to be 2.4 ounces before and after the packaging change. It's all about perception. Pray for our peeps in So California.
