Less than half of the women here in Utah who receive a medical diagnosis of an eating disorder ever receive any medical treatment for such disorder. This is a real failure at so many levels. And I suspect that there are likely three or four times more individuals with eating disorders here in Utah as there are actual eating order diagnoses. Why are we so ashamed to talk about eating disorders? Or be diagnosed? Or get help? Do we still think it is "good" to have an eating disorder? We need to start having this conversation here in Utah. Like now. So tell me if you live here in Utah or are from Utah, why are we afraid to talk about eating disorders? https://lnkd.in/d_yiRXn6
