Which companies do celebrate Easter? Earlier, I thought it was mostly traditional businesses in sectors like manufacturing. However, statistics show something entirely different: over 95% of our clients who order Easter gifts are actually from the IT industry. Usually, they don't emphasize religious aspects but rather leverage this holiday as an opportunity to provide their employees with gifts like food, coloring books, and more. In addition, some IT companies extend their generosity to the children of their employees. Such an interesting insight. Does your company give gifts to employees for Easter? #EasterGifts #MOODua #NellyTalks

What do you want as a employee/customer/supplier for Christmas? My company spends a small fortune on dinners/hampers/drinks/presents/Christmas party. We try (it’s very difficult) to organise dinners or lunches with our best/biggest customers and suppliers. Talk about the scars we have from the year that’s past and what’s in the pipeline for next year. We send Christmas hampers with drinks and assorted rubbish to customers, this year we did around 60. Sorry if any of my customers are reading and didn’t get one. Presents and gifts to all Starbuck staff and a Christmas party. As a group we got somewhere around 50 bottles of alcohol and so much other stuff bought to the office (mostly given to the staff) and I was invited to a lunch or dinner most days in December. The question is; Do you want gifts from a client/supplier? Do you want gifts from your boss? Or is it more about the symbol of being appreciated and valued? *^ My favourite gift of the year actually came from my number one accounts girl. I’m going to get more made for next year

In the early 80s, long before “𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞” became a familiar word for me, my father had a tradition that still sticks with me. Every Christmas, a day or two before the big day, he’d invite his colleagues—along with their families—over to our home. No fancy catering. No corporate agendas. Just a home-cooked meal, heartfelt conversations, and the warmth of community. As a child, I didn’t think much of it. I just loved the buzz in the house—the laughter, kids running around, and the adults chatting late into the night. But looking back now, I realize how powerful that simple ritual was. It wasn’t just about celebrating Christmas. It was about connection. It was about knowing your colleagues as people, not just job titles. It was about creating bonds that went beyond deadlines and deliverables. Bonds that lasted a lifetime. It was a celebration about 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 My father’s Christmas tradition taught me something profound: 👉 The teams that thrive aren’t just the ones who work together. They’re the ones who know each other well even at a personal level. They trust each other, and care about each other. As we approach the end of 2024, it's the perfect time to reflect on the year and look ahead with a focus on fostering deeper connections and building a strong sense of camaraderie—whether at work, within families, or among friends. 🎄Merry Christmas🎄to you and your loves ones.

This time next week, many of us will be with our families or loved ones, celebrating Christmas. Or perhaps, for those who don’t celebrate, it’s simply time spent slowing down, reflecting, and reconnecting. As someone who does celebrate Christmas, particularly with 2 children (!) - I've been thinking a LOT about gifts—about presents and presence—and which matters more? The truth is, the most meaningful gift we can offer anyone is our presence: being fully there, listening, noticing, and caring. In a world that so often pulls our attention in a thousand directions, the simple act of showing up—really showing up—is priceless. Whether we celebrate Christmas or not, the gift of presence is universal. It’s a gift we can give freely to our families, our teams, our colleagues, and ourselves. It’s about the moments we create when we’re fully engaged, the conversations that matter, and the connections we nurture. As we near the end of the year, I invite you to pause and ask: "Where can I offer the gift of my presence?" For those you love. For the people you lead. For yourself. After all, the moments where we are truly present are the ones that leave a lasting impact. So I hope yours is a season filled with meaning, connection, and presence—however you choose to spend it. 🎄 #Leadership #PresenceOverPresents #ConnectionMatters #EndOfYearReflections #PersonalGrowth

Santa's Annual Gift-Giving: A Typical Boss Move It's that time of the year again when Santa Claus, the CEO of the North Pole, decides to play favorites with his employees. Yep, you guessed it – he only gives gifts to his favorite elves! As the big boss, Santa thinks he's being generous by handing out gifts to his top performers. Meanwhile, the rest of the elves are stuck with a lump of coal and a pat on the back. Talk about a morale booster! Here's a sneak peek at Santa's gift-giving criteria: - Did you meet your toy-making quota? - Did you attend all the mandatory holiday parties? - Did you remember to wear your festive sweater on Fridays? If you answered "yes" to all of the above, congratulations! You might just find a shiny new bike under the tree. But if you're a slacker elf who can't even be bothered to wear a Santa hat, well... let's just say you won't be finding any gifts with your name on them. #SantasFavorites #GiftGiving #BossLife #NorthPolePolitics #MerryChristmas

It’s December 26th. You made it through Christmas Eve, you survived Christmas Day, but now you’re sitting in your kitchen, staring at the mess, and wondering why you feel like a wrung-out sponge. The days leading up to Christmas were chaos. You had a list as long as your arm—gifts to wrap, groceries to buy, the house to clean. You thought if you just pushed hard enough, you could create that magical Christmas for everyone. And Christmas Eve? It was okay. The tree looked beautiful, the kids smiled, and dinner wasn’t a total disaster. But now? The family rallies have started. People are in and out, trying to act friendly while the tension hangs in the air. Everyone’s eating too much, sitting too long, and the smallest thing - a forgotten dessert or a joke that lands wrong increases the tension of the atmosphere. You’ve barely slept, your head is pounding, and your energy is gone. All that effort, all that planning, and here you are: snapping at your kids for leaving their toys everywhere, pretending you’re fine in front of the in-laws, and wishing for a moment of peace that never seems to come. Sound familiar? You don’t have to do this to yourself again. The Energetic Survival Guide for Christmas isn’t just another guide. It’s a lifeline for busy women who are tired of sacrificing their sanity and energy for the sake of “making everyone else happy.” This year, take a different path. Protect your energy, simplify the chaos, and find your calm in the middle of it all. Because your family doesn’t need you to check every box on the to-do list - they need you. Let’s make this Christmas one you’ll actually enjoy. Write CHRISTMAS in the comment and I send you the Energetic Survival Guide for Christmas. · #HolidayStress · #EnergyManagement · #ChristmasSurvivalGuide · #OverwhelmedMoms · #MindfulHolidays

2wGreat to see organisations actually doing this rather than just talking about doing it 👏
