"𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀." — Stephen R. Covey Today, on 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, we reflect on the importance of building a more inclusive world. At Lemonway, we believe technology is a tool for progress, but true innovation stems from responsibility and impact. ✨ This year, we’re proud to channel our apprenticeship tax toward the school La Chrysalide de L'Être — a remarkable institution empowering young individuals with disabilities to achieve social and professional independence. 🦋 This isn’t just about funding; it’s about believing in a future where everyone, regardless of challenges, has a place and purpose. La Chrysalide’s mission inspires us to see beyond barriers and embrace the strength found in diversity. We know we’re not perfect. 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Reflections: Accelerating Social Mobility Event 🚀 Our Accelerating Social Mobility event last month brought together inspiring voices to explore how education, businesses, and communities can collaborate to create opportunity and tackle inequality. 🌟 Key Highlights 🌟 Lisa Pollard revealed that poverty is worsening, particularly for children from lone-parent families, and urged businesses to step in by offering flexible roles, mentoring, and governance support. Daniel Jones from Clarke Willmott emphasised the importance of daily employee support, fostering open cultural conversations, and focusing on improving lives. Karen Higgins shared Clarke Willmott’s approach to social mobility, including reverse mentoring, focus groups, and community engagement. Emma Colwill introduced innovative work experience programs that use tech to match students with meaningful placements. Anna Averis highlighted Bishop Fleming’s apprenticeships, where 40% of their latest intake are school leavers, supported by partnerships with UWE Strive Scheme and others. The event reinforced that driving social mobility requires collaboration across schools, businesses, and communities. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟕 🤗 Proverbs 11:4 CEV: When God is angry, money won't help you. Obeying God is the only way to be saved from death. You have to know Him for yourself. Ulimately to grow wealth, you have to have a relationship with the giver of that wealth. You have to have a relationship with God and get Him fully involved in your finances. He is well able to help you grow wealth in ways that would blow your mind. And its not just about you being a Christian, its more than a Sunday-Sunday thing. It's an intentionality to follow His Will for you as regards your finances as well as other aspects of your life every day. It should be a lifestyle everyday. Every waking day, try to grow in the knowledge of God and allow Him to handle every aspects of your life. Thank you for your unwavering support of small businesses in the UK, Rishi Sunak Ji. Your dedication to their success is truly commendable. Lower taxes, reduced administrative burdens, and improved access to finance are crucial measures that can significantly impact the growth and sustainability of small businesses. By implementing these changes, you're not only bolstering the economy but also nurturing an environment that fosters innovation and rewards hard work. I appreciate your commitment to listening to business owners across the country. It's through this active engagement that we can understand their needs better and create tailored solutions. Fully funding apprenticeships for young people is a fantastic initiative that will not only provide valuable skills but also create opportunities for future generations. Additionally, cutting red tape and simplifying reporting requirements will undoubtedly relieve many business owners from unnecessary burdens, allowing them to focus on what matters most – driving their businesses forward. Lastly, your support for female founders is vital in promoting diversity and equality within the entrepreneurial landscape.

On October 6th, 2024 to celebrate World Financial Planning Week, We, in collaboration with Friends of the Children Trust, organized an enriching session aimed at transforming the financial futures of young adults from economically less privileged backgrounds as they prepare to enter the workforce. The session, led by our esteemed speaker, Pruthvi Ravindranath, QPFP®, captivated the audience with practical insights into personal finance. The key messages delivered were not just about managing money, but about shaping mindsets: - Personal Financial Behavior: The foundation of financial well-being starts with understanding and adjusting one’s personal behavior towards money. - Avoiding Common Pitfalls: Through engaging, relatable stories, students learned how to steer clear of the most common financial mistakes. - Wealth Creation as a Personal Responsibility: Emphasizing that building wealth is a long-term, personal responsibility that every individual must take seriously to secure their future and contribute positively to society. To further support these young minds, we offered internship opportunities to those eager to explore the world of financial planning hands-on, giving them practical exposure to complement their newfound knowledge. At COFP, we are immensely proud of the work we are doing to empower and inspire the next generation of financial leaders. A big thank you to everyone involved for making this and other two initiatives a resounding success, especially our volunteers Ravi Kumar Achar, Manu Nedunkandathil, CFP®, Praveen RK CFP, Suresh A, Avneet Arora, CFP, Samit Singh, Vanitha C krishnan, sriram suryanarayanan, Meiappan Palaniappan, Sheshanarayana chadaga P S Together, we are shaping tomorrow’s financial leaders! #COFP #FinancialPlanning #FutureLeaders #WealthCreation #ImpactfulInitiatives #Empowerment #WorldFinancialPlanningWeek
