Always a perfect time for change, ideal for planning an autumn return full of perspectives and new personal and professional visions! If you’re trying to get promoted, craving a career change, or just seeking professional development, summer can be the perfect time to invest in your career. The summer months typically have the lowest hiring rates due to widespread vacations and budget limitations. While this can be a frustrating time for those looking to move forward, there are many opportunities to advance your career development. Here are five ways to take advantage of the summer months to revitalize your career and help you land a new role by fall...! Here your link to know more: https://lnkd.in/d-pXMZ8H www.chimibase.it

I made a resolution in the New Year: to take more photos! Side note- I've realized I'm often the one snapping pictures, missing out on being in those special moments. But, being behind the lens shouldn't mean missing out on the experience. So, here's to embracing a new perspective! Looking back on my early days at Capital City College Group, I remember feeling a mix of nerves and excitement when leading employability sessions and work experience briefs. Transitioning from a role focused on sourcing placements was a challenge. However, those challenges have been invaluable in shaping my confidence. One piece of advice I gave a student really hit home: "Being professional doesn't mean hiding who you are." This insight helped me find my stride. I learned to prioritize transparency and seeking input from colleagues with diverse expertise when I am in need of inspiration. These steps has shaped me in to the professional that I am today. These lessons extend beyond my personal growth to benefit our work experience initiatives. Encouraging students to build genuine relationships with employers without being robotic and to ask questions if they are in need of clarity. Transparency in the work place promotes self-fulfilment as students feel valued for their identity as well as their abilities. So, here's to embracing authenticity and seizing every opportunity to capture the essence of our journey, in photos and in life. 😎 #Westminsterkingswaycollege#westking#workexperiencecoordinator#employerengagement#workexperience#education#capitalcitycollege#
