Another day, another cool revelation thanks to AI… I can’t believe I never noticed this hidden bear on the mountain in the Toblerone logo before. Sometimes, it takes AI to open our eyes to what’s right in front of us. Granted, I don’t like chocolate so if it wasn’t for a computer vision algorithm I don’t think I’d ever have noticed this. Have you spotted it before? Fun fact: TOBLERONE is made in Bern, Switzerland (aka, ‘the city of bears’) so this hidden bear pays a neat homage to that. #computervision #ai #artificialintelliegence

1yI love what we can do with technology and how it can be implemented. My distant background is in graphic design, and it was an old graphic designer who first pointed the bear out to me many years ago (imagine Karate Kid but with Photoshop). I've now fully moved into the data and visualisation realm, and I try to use the skills learned about how people interpret what / how they see what's presented. It's amusing and humbling to see how people are using technology to cross paths and discover things on their own. This (very specific) example, also anchors to me the importance of learning from others and sharing our own experiences. I love to see it!
