For most of NFT history, the secrets of how to launch an NFT project were held in the hands of a few market makers. These individuals were often behind the launch of projects that benefited their pockets and not the space. My goal is to democratize NFT marketing knowledge. I want to level the playing field for every founder in web3. Everything I learn working with dozens of clients at any given moment, I share for free. There is no secret sauce hidden behind a paywall. It's pointless to argue about what's more important – the roots, trunk, or branches and leaves of an oak tree. Without roots, there would be nothing, but without a trunk, even more so, and if you cut off all the branches, the tree won't last long. I looked at the 200 NFT projects with the highest all-time volume. How many have rugged? How many are dead? How many are still building? The results are shocking but not surprising: Of the 200 projects I looked at, 14 have rugged. Among them: 3Landers, Metroverse, Sneaky Vampire Syndicate, JUNGLE FREAKS Genesis and Robotos. Another 21 are basically dead. Activity is limited to reposting content or meaningless posts. On the positive side, 80 of the top 200 traded NFT projects are still relevant today and have teams that are building. The remaining projects have not (soft-) rugged (yet?) and are still working on something, but are also no longer relevant today. Dead communities, no volume, nobody cares anymore. Surprised?
