Measurand created the Portable Diagnostic Unit (PDU) in order to offer clients a convenient and cost-effective means of verifying the patented cyclical installation of SAAV. This ensures that your ShapeArray is able to provide the most accurate deformation data possible. Acting as an interface, the PDU manages the communication and power between the ShapeArray and the computer. It is equipped with a high-quality DC to DC converter that boosts and regulates the voltage from the 10.80V Lithium-Ion battery to a constant 13.5V. The PDU also has the capability to increase the voltage to 16.5V, allowing for the use of longer communication cables. With a rapid charging battery, the PDU can fully charge in just 105 minutes. We designed bay controller MIO-8-4-i ( 8-DI, 4-RC, 1-ME). MIO-8-4-I is an autonomous unit that provides connection to the 8th discrete sensors with «dry contact» type, issuing two two-position discrete control commands (4 power switches), measurement of alternating current by one phase (0…1 or 0…5 A).
