🌐☮️ #Juxtaposed ⚖️ Justice & Unity 🤝 ♎ COLOURs In shadows, we march, seeking justice, through streets divided. Stars flicker, near and far, we chase peace, but scars remain. Walls rise, ancient barriers, yet we move, step by step, a flame flickers, hope in the dark. Voices echo, justice calls, but still, the lines are drawn. Nations reach, hands tired, building bridges, across borders, across hearts. Once apart, now connected, in unity’s fragile art. Explorers of hope, in a divided world, we seek, we stand. Through war-torn fields, we rise, hand in hand, but the shadows linger, light grows slow. Yet we roam, carrying dreams, human race, fragmented, still yearning. Stars align, but tomorrow is uncertain. Justice walks, mile by mile, in conflict, in trial, we fight. A world free? Still a distant cry. Epilogue: Justice & Division: Our pursuit of fairness highlights the stark realities of a divided world. Together, we must challenge the systems that perpetuate inequality, recognizing the power of our united voices to effect change. Flickering Hope: Amid constant challenges, flickering hope ignites our resilience. Every act of kindness strengthens our belief that change is possible, reminding us that a brighter future is attainable. Unity in Fragility: Bridging divisions requires acknowledging our shared humanity. Unity is a delicate balance, thriving on empathy and open dialogue. By fostering understanding, we can cultivate compassion and create a sense of belonging that transcends our differences. May we remain steadfast in our commitment to justice, hope, and unity, forging a path toward a more equitable world. #JusticeForAll #UnityInDiversity #HopeInDarkness #GlobalSolidarity #BridgingDivides #EmpathyInAction #RiseTogether #VoicesForChange #HumanityUnited #CollectiveStrength #PeaceAndJustice #EqualityForAll #InspiringChange #ExplorersOfHope #GlobalMovement #TogetherWeStand #StandForJustice #PathToUnity #BreakingBarriers #PeaceBuilders #VoicesOfUnity #OneWorldOneFuture #AhmedEmdadulAnwar ©Ahmed Emdadul Anwar October 21, 2024 Monday 🌏🌍🌎 https://lnkd.in/g2-WDvva

Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) are disproportionately represented in human trafficking statistics. Here are some statistics that show the racial disparities in trafficking: Black youth Black children are more likely to be arrested for juvenile prostitution (child sexual abuse) than other racial groups, making up 53% of all arrests. Black girls are also more likely to be trafficked at a younger age. For example, in King County, Washington, 52% of child sex trafficking victims are Black, even though Black children and adults only make up 7% of the population. Black women According to a two-year review of suspected human trafficking incidents, 40% of sex trafficking victims were Black women. In Cook County, Illinois, 66% of sex trafficking victims between 2012-2016 were Black women. In Nebraska, 50% of people sold online for sex are Black, even though Black people only make up 5% of the population. The National Human Trafficking Hotline also reports that Latinos are disproportionately represented among human trafficking victims and survivors. The sources of these statistics are The Polaris Project, The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and Rights4Girls. #juneteenth #bipoc #survivorleaders
June 19, 1865—Juneteenth—is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. As we celebrate and remember this day, we also recognize the reality that there are still millions of people around the world who are experiencing modern slavery. HTI celebrates this day while holding on to tangible hope, knowing that we can make a difference. #Juneteenth #June19 #EndModernSlavery #StopTraffickers

True #justice is not about momentary victories—it’s about creating lasting peace and equity. While violence may bring short-term results, it cannot sustain the dignity, love, and humanity needed to build the #BelovedCommunity. As we approach King Holiday Observance 2025, themed #MissionPossible, let us recommit to the principles of #Nonviolence365. Real change happens when we choose true peace in conflict and justice over vengeance. Together, we can make this mission possible. #Nonviolence365 #MLKLegacy #KHO2025 #MissionPossible #TheKingCenter
