🎁 Season of Giving 🎁 Five ways you can support #GivingTuesday >>> 💲 Donate Money: Contribute to a charity or cause you care about. Even small donations can make a big difference to organizations like PerspectAbility Inc. ⌚ Volunteer Your Time: Offer your skills and time to local organizations. Whether it's helping at a food bank, animal shelter, or community garden, your efforts can have a significant impact. 💹 Fundraise for a Cause: Start a fundraising campaign for a cause you believe in. You can organize events like bake sales, charity runs, or online fundraisers to gather support from your community. 🥫 Donate Goods and Services: Provide items like food, clothing, or toys to those in need. Many organizations run drives for these items, especially during the holiday season. 🛒 Shop with Purpose: Purchase from brands that give back. Many companies donate a portion of their profits to charitable causes, so your holiday shopping can also support Giving Tuesday.

It's the holiday season, and a lot of giving is happening. That's great! But a lot of the giving is as a result of being asked. Do you know what makes fundraising so expensive and hard? Few people make charitable donations without first being asked. In other words, many of us don't give to charity without fundraising. Put another way, without charities spending money to find and ask us to give, we don't give. While (especially some) charities certainly share the 'blame' of a sector whose fundraising costs are too high, it's important to reflect on our own role. A goal for me is to contribute to reduced fundraising costs by increasing the number of people who choose to donate charitably on their own. I want to increase the number of people who make giving a part of their chosen lifestyle because I know that those donors are the most cost-effective and tend to create the most change. Imagine if giving season could be all year round rather than a few months. 💭 💭 Check out the rest of my conversation with Justin Chung on the Money Dad podcast: https://bit.ly/3ZVFS6n

Calling all charities requiring support! HBC is a local courier business to Biggleswade. We are passionate about supporting local charities and reducing our carbon footprint. We have been initiated with local businesses and charities approaching us and want to do as much as we can to help. Therefore, every month we will be selecting a charity at random to support for four weeks. Do you need a volunteer? Do you need help with a donation drive? Do you need a food donation pledge? Do you need us to promote an event? Do you need something transported? We will try our best within that month to help your cause. Sadly we won’t be able to raise hundreds of pounds for everyone but there may be other ways we can help. What to do: If interested, please send an email to charity@hbclogistics.co.uk with what support / needs your charity or project has. hashtag #charity hashtag #fundraising

today is #GivingTuesday and simply put, it’s a day that encourages people to do good. we all have the power to make positive change and it doesn’t always have to be a big gesture. tips that have helped me over the years: 🤍 TIME: volunteer at a local charity whether it be yourself, friends/colleagues or with family 🤍 DONATE: find a charitable organization that is meaningful to you. i would also check to see if your employer matches contributions! 🤍 ASK for donations: if you are a Content Creator; ask brands and agencies if they are open to donating and do a pick up and drop off (e.g diapers and food items). 🤍 other CREATIVE ways when you’re on a BUDGET: if you have points accumulated at a grocery store, use them to buy food items to donate. round up at the cash register; and donate when you’re making a purchase. getting my boys involved in our annual food and toy drive at Cardinal Health Canada and my boys have some items to pick out and donate through their school program. #community #volunteer #giveback #toronto #parentblogger #torontoblogger #donate #raisingkids #timewellspent #mycardinalhealthstory

You can be like Jason and not talk about any of your charitable efforts, but know that partnering with people, causes, or organizations in need IS part of a #PublicRelations or charitable giving strategy. [Image: "We do a lot of stuff in the community. We’re donating to different events, and any time anybody asks us for donations, we support them, whether it be contests or giveaways. . . on a weekly basis, we provide vegan meals to a Downtown Eastside shelter. We do a lot of community work—we just don't talk about it that much." 15 Charitable Locations With a Cause Over the years, as I worked with clients, I found that people with a charity that offered a cause close to their hearts were more likely to get rid of their gently used belongings. Whatever the reason, they were happier when they gave to a charity they support than selling the item. In this post, we will provide you with an extensive list of charitable locations with a cause to motivate you to take action and get rid of those unwanted items. Note: Please check the charitable locations’ websites for details on the updated donating items policies. From clothing to collectibles, several charities are below to help you get rid of items. Each section includes the name of the charitable location, the link, what they accept, and their cause. Read below to find the one that is best for you! Last month during the B Corp Month campaign, our Health, Wellness, and Happiness team arranged a B Corp Month Bingo. Being a B Corp is not only about business but also about our people and the small things in our daily lives. The mission was simple: everyone takes up one task, and we complete the bingo as a team. Of course, it is encouraged to try all of them. With every bingo line achieved, we will donate 25 euros to a charity we choose. (Spoiler alert: we donated 300 euros to the World Food Program) Look how colorful it turned out! 🎨 Note to self: Don’t make it too simple, no matter how much you want your company to donate to a charitable cause.

What would YOU do for clean water? 💧👇 For the 703 million people living without it, the answer is anything. And they do: they walk miles every day, in treacherous conditions and extreme heat, just to access water that makes them sick — or worse. Three years ago, I ran a treadmill marathon in the middle of lockdown to fundraise for charity: water, an incredible organisation that has helped over 18 million people to get clean water. This time, I'll be running a real, in-person marathon, to raise even more for those who need it most 🏃 What I love about fundraising for charity: water is knowing that 100% of every pound you donate will go directly to providing the life-changing gift of clean water where it’s needed most 🌍 charity: water will even report back to you directly with details of where your money went, and how it’s helping 📍 No one should have to live without clean water. This is such a solvable issue and charity: water is one of the most unique and game-changing charities in the clean water space today. I know these are uncertain times, and every penny counts right now. If you are able to donate to this fundraiser, I'd be extremely grateful for any donation you can make. You'll literally be helping to save lives 💛 If you'd like to support me in my fundraising journey or follow along as I train, please see below ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/edrPr8rm #CharityWater #Fundraiser #CleanWater #Community #Marathon #Runner #Support #Water #Good #WaterChangesEverything #Donate

Have you heard? Decluttering isn't just about tidying up; it's about making room for what truly matters. Your excess and extras may be someone’s demanding need. Let's take a moment to declutter our lives and donate unused materials to those in need. On this Day 21/30 of the #ECO30Impact Challenge, we implore you to: 1️⃣ Set aside time to declutter your home, focusing on areas where excess clutter tends to accumulate, such as closets, drawers, and storage spaces. 2️⃣ Sort and organize donated items into separate categories, ensuring they are clean, sorted, and ready for donation. 3️⃣ Gather items that are in good condition but no longer serve you, and donate them to households, local charities, or community organizations that can put them to good use. Feel free to tag your decluttering and donation act with us and we will be glad to amplify your impact. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our communities. #Declutter #Donate #Helptheneedy #ECOChampions
