𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐈𝐊𝐍) 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Indonesia’s ambition to develop the new Nusantara Capital City (IKN) is gaining significant momentum as global interest surges. We are excited to witness the engagement of major nations like China and the United States in this transformative project. Both countries are actively participating in high-level discussions with Indonesian officials, solidifying their commitment to invest in IKN. This collaborative spirit is paving the way for a prosperous future for Indonesia’s central government. President Joe Biden's administration has shown strong support, with Enoh T. Ebong, Director of the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), recently visiting Indonesia. Ebong's visit marked a series of key initiatives, including the USTDA Nusantara Business Forum, aimed at enhancing smart city solutions and commercial opportunities. Additionally, USTDA’s reverse trade mission will facilitate knowledge transfer by introducing Indonesian officials to successful US city projects. China’s commitment is equally commendable. During bilateral meetings, President Xi Jinping expressed China's readiness to invest in IKN’s development. This partnership was further solidified through a memorandum of understanding focusing on collaborative planning and knowledge sharing. With China boasting the most smart cities globally, their expertise will be invaluable in implementing the forest smart city concept in IKN, integrating advanced technologies into city governance. We are also witnessing active participation from Malaysia, with foreign investments expected to reach around Rp40 trillion in the property sector alone. The upcoming feasibility studies and tenders in April 2024 highlight the growing investor confidence in IKN. Furthermore, the collaboration in the transportation sector, particularly the development of railway mass transit, underscores the multifaceted approach to infrastructure development in Nusantara. These international collaborations are a testament to the global confidence in Indonesia's vision for IKN. As we move forward, we anticipate more fruitful partnerships that will contribute to creating a world-class capital city. We extend our gratitude to all participating nations and agencies for their unwavering support and look forward to realizing the full potential of Nusantara. #IKNDevelopment #NusantaraCapitalCity #GlobalPartnership #SmartCity #SustainableDevelopment Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR)
