Reflecting on a recent customer visit after finding this picture on my phone this morning. This was taken RIGHT before walking in. It captures the positive energy our team was feeling in a moment that was months in the making for us. This moment came from a collaboration with an enterprise client on a custom group CDP development. For this project, there were countless iterations, lots of back-and-forth, and plenty of refining our approach along the way. Our keys to success have come from listening closely, giving/accepting feedback, and staying laser-focused on a shared goal of turning their data into something actionable and meaningful. One of my clients once told me that their mission was to create partnerships that were positive on both sides. That’s something I’ve carried with me throughout my career. It’s so important for our team to challenge clients in positive ways, and just as important that they challenge us, too. This particular client called our collaboration a "virtuous cycle," where every interaction made the next one better. That’s exactly what we aim for at Fullpath . Scoop: Salesforce is already planning layoffs for the staff of Own, a startup it finished acquiring yesterday for about $2 billion. Mergers often lead to job losses - but not usually this fast. After company integration (or "harmonization", as Salesforce calls it), a chunk of Own's staff will be cut in January or kept on short-term contracts to help with the integration. Salesforce picked up thousands of workers through acquisitions like Slack in 2021 or Tableau in 2019. That came under fire from investors in recent years, leading the company to tighten its merger style. https://lnkd.in/eUTFmTQ7
