And they've, they've raised another 100 million. What they do specifically, as a lot of people know, is they provide what I would describe as energy efficiency as a service. They're funding the retrofits. That's been a really attractive place to put capital because if you have capital you want to put to work. This touches infrastructure investing, this touches sustainability, climate tech, decarbonization, all those themes you can, you can touch on through an investment in Redactive. And what they end up doing is they'll go into buildings and they started really with just LED retrofits. You have a building, you have lights. Let's. Create your LEDs. But now they've, they've gone beyond that renewables, HVAC upgrades and the idea is instead of a building paying to upgrade those systems, which is a large capital outlay, adaptive comes in and says we've raised money debt in a lot of cases to do this. We we can do those retrofits for you and then you pay us back over time based on the energy savings. And that can be a multi year is a multi year contract, but everyone wins in that case.

As we work towards a cleaner future, we have to face a big reality, we’re not making progress quickly enough. The World Energy Outlook 2024 tells us that simply using clean energy isn’t enough. We need strong systems that can handle the challenges of climate change and the growing demand for energy. We often see how fragile our energy systems are, especially when extreme weather events disrupt power supplies or when our energy needs increase faster than we can supply it. If we really want a safe and eco-friendly future, we need to focus on making our energy systems more resilient. This means investing more in our power grids, energy storage solutions, and technologies that can adapt to changes. Are we doing enough to prepare our energy systems for the future? Every dollar we invest today in building stronger infrastructure is a step towards a future that is not just clean, but also safe and sustainable. #sustainability #gogreen #energy #ecofriendly
