🌍 We’re excited to share that the #GOBEYOND project was recently presented at the 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 held in Geneva, Switzerland! 🎉 💡 During the event, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁 gave an insightful overview of the GOBEYOND project with the perspective of integrating QLARM, a tool funded by the Swiss Confederation, within the Multi-Risk Impact-Based Early Warning System (MR-IEWS) platforms. The presentation included insights from the recently published paper by Wyss and Rosset (2024), as a validation test of the QLARM tool in four demonstrations countries of the project. 💡 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 discussed updates needed to adapt QLARM to our project objectives, while 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀 focused on the additional data that should be included in the QLARM database. 🔗 The published paper is available here: https://lnkd.in/dvzzgCmx #EarlyWarningSystems #MultiRisk #QLARM #ICES #Security #RiskManagement #Resilience
