❓📣 Why is strategic consulting so essential in public relations? 💼 Many companies and leaders seek "more visibility," "to get people talking about them," or "to stay ahead of the competition" through communication and PR. And that’s understandable. But behind these ambitions, it's crucial to identify deeper objectives: Is it about developing the image of a particular business segment? Strengthening the company’s overall credibility? Positioning the CEO as a thought leader on a specific topic? This is where a PR specialist comes in to guide that reflection. For me, it's essential to be a strategic partner to my clients and to refocus on these core issues. After all, it takes two to tango. 💃 🤜🤛 So when I advise my clients, I help them understand that appearing on a major news broadcast or in a national daily can be a goal, but it doesn’t always solve all their challenges. Sometimes, a well-targeted article in a specialized publication, social media, or a partnership will have a much stronger and longer-lasting impact. ⚙️ In my view, strategy means developing a global vision and aligning every communication action with clear objectives. Who is the audience we want to reach? What perception do we want to change? 🔎 For example, is it always necessary to try to get media exposure for a CEO from the automotive industry just before or during the Paris Motor Show ? There's no right or wrong answer—it’s all about weighing risks and opportunities and, of course, strategy! With an industry in upheaval, it's essential to consider other top voices speaking at the same time and the risk of being drowned out.
