📖 Earlier this month, the #UNinIndonesia published the Country Results Report 2023. Have you had the chance to read it yet? Here are several highlights from the report: 🌟Our milestone transforming from Pulse Lab Jakarta to the UN Global Pulse Asia Pacific hub contributes to strengthening the UN in Indonesia's role in data-related support and advocacy and as a champion of the UN 2.0 #QuintetofChange. 🌟 The development of the MEDIAN dashboard for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) is highlighted as an innovative approach that harnesses both conventional and non-conventional data to foster data-driven policymaking. 🌟 Our LNOB initiative, the Akses Inklusif platform, is mentioned as one of the innovations to accelerate progress towards the #SDGs. Developing this platform involved a wide range of stakeholders and incorporated mixed-method approaches, where the needs of the parents and caretakers of children with disability were gathered through field visits with communities and organizations for people with disability in several locations in Indonesia. We look forward to continuing our collaborations and supporting the UN family in Indonesia to achieve our common agenda 🇺🇳. 📗Read the report here: http://bit.ly/3A7pDKs #SDGsacceleration #inclusiveinnovation #leavenoonebehind

As we observe the historic Youth Pledge (Sumpah Pemuda) of 1928, I'm reflecting on its enduring significance in our professional landscape today. The pledge's core principles - One Homeland, One Nation, One Language - established the framework for what would become modern Indonesia's unified business environment and professional ecosystem. In today's corporate world, these principles translate into: - Unity in Diversity: Leveraging our multicultural workforce as a competitive advantage - Professional Communication: Using Bahasa Indonesia as a unifying force in our business community - National Innovation: Collaborating across regions to drive Indonesia's economic growth As business leaders, we can honor this legacy by: - Fostering inclusive workplace cultures - Developing nationwide talent initiatives - Supporting cross-regional business collaboration - Investing in Indonesia's future workforce The spirit of Sumpah Pemuda reminds us that professional excellence and national progress go hand in hand. #ProfessionalDevelopment #IndonesianBusiness #CorporateLeadership #BusinessUnity #SumpahPemuda #IndonesianExcellence
Let’s carry the spirit of the Youth Pledge as a driving force for a stronger and more united nation. With our diversity, we can create a brighter future, full of innovation and progress for our beloved Indonesia. #NeutraDC #HariSumpahPemuda #Indonesia

Today’s girls face immense challenges—from climate crises to conflict and poverty—limiting their choices and futures. Yet, they continue to take action every day to create a world that protects, respects, and empowers them. At Wahana Visi Indonesia, we believe girls cannot achieve this alone. They need support and resources to reach their full potential. When girls lead, the impact is transformative, strengthening families, communities, and economies. Urgent action is required to drive progress for and with girls. Investing in their future is an investment in our own. Together, we can ensure every girl’s rights are protected. #WahanaVisiIndonesia #ForIndonesianChildren #InternationalGirlsDay #InvestInGirls

🌏Empowering Women & Communities for Change in Asia: Volunteer Opportunity 🌏 I'm inspired to offer my time and expertise to empower women and communities in Asia—especially in Cambodia and Myanmar—to embark on entrepreneurship journeys. I've witnessed firsthand how a shift in mindset and beliefs about self and money can transform lives, creating paths to financial independence and resilience. For over a decade, I have led the Mengecapi Aspirasi Diri (MAD) program across Malaysia, training nearly 1,000 B40 women to create sustainable home businesses. This initiative, supported by MyKasih Foundation and corporate partners, has helped countless women build new lives, supporting themselves and their families through business. My work as an Executive Life Coach and Trainer has focused on this vital area: showing individuals how to unlock their potential and create abundant futures by fostering positive self-worth and financial beliefs. I would love to volunteer in the Asia region to work with communities, empowering them through the same principles. If you’re part of an organization or initiative in Cambodia, Myanmar, or anywhere in Asia where these efforts could make a difference, let’s connect! Together, we can uplift more individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, cultivating self-reliance and prosperity. Please reach out if you’d like to collaborate or if you know of organizations that could benefit from this support. #Empowerment #WomenInBusiness #Entrepreneurship #CommunityDevelopment #AsiaVolunteer #CSR #MindsetTransformation #MAD

ASB Indonesia and the Philippines have developed principles to ensure inclusion, called the 5 Inclusion Musts. One of these musts is accessibility, and a key aspect of accessibility is physical accessibility. Physical accessibility have to remove all physical barriers. The World Health Organization (WHO) describes physical barriers as “Factors in a person's environment that, through their absence or presence, limit functioning and create disability.” These factors can include an environment that is not physically accessible, such as steps into a building or an inaccessible transport system. Learn more about organising events in accessible buildings in this document below. #Inclusion #Accessibility #ASB #AccessibleEvents

[Kartini’s Day] Dear Foreign Policy Enthusiasts, When discussing women's emancipation, the first figure that comes to mind for Indonesians is Raden Adjeng Kartini. Kartini was a Javanese noblewoman who became an icon of women's emancipation in Indonesia during the colonial era especially in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Her struggle for women's education and rights makes her known as a pioneer of Indonesian women's emancipation. Therefore, to honor her contributions, every April 21st is commemorated as Kartini’s Day. One of her monumental works, 'Out of Darkness to Light', encourages women to reach beyond their dreams. Greetings to all Indonesian women on this auspicious Kartini’s Day! Kartini once said “Strive! Fight to free yourself. Only when you are free because of your efforts, then you can help others”. Thank you for your attention. Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia Chapter Indonesia Board of 2024 #FPCIUI #ReachingBeyond

🌱 Embracing Sustainable Inclusive Growth! 🤝 The lack of inclusivity drives some of the biggest problems in The Philippines. Many Filipinos are challenged with improving their quality of life as they struggle to access quality food, shelter, education, employment, and capital. Furthermore, Filipino communities may struggle to implement the best solutions produced from diverse perspectives and healthy debate as there are barriers along demographics such as gender, race, sexual orientation or socio-economic background. We believe that true progress can only come from empowering EVERYONE. 🌟 Sustainable Inclusive Growth means fostering an environment where no one is left behind. 🌏💚 To achieve this, YLIP aims to mobilize teams of students and NGOs drive sustainable inclusive growth for The Philippines - one initiative at a time. 🌳🌲 Want to be part of this change? Join YLIP to develop your skills and take part in creating a more inclusive Philippines. Join any of the upcoming info sessions (note that all sessions are ONLINE)! 📍July 20 - https://lnkd.in/gFSvZfmE 📍July 26 - https://lnkd.in/gXVaFF7W Please note that individuals who are interested are required to join at least one information session to proceed with their application, discuss the recruitment process and next steps. #YLIP #EmpoweringYoungLeaders #IdeasIntoImpact

We are excited to share our new partnership with Liberty Society, our sister organisation in Indonesia, dedicated to supporting some of the most marginalised women in the region. Liberty Society empowers refugees through skill-building, confidence-building, and economic opportunity—creating brighter futures for themselves and their communities. For many of our Sisters, Indonesia is a holding point, where they live in crowded, hostel-style accommodations, often in limbo and unable to work or study. With over 13,000 refugees in Indonesia, many women face long periods of uncertainty. Typically, our Sisters only find SisterWorks after arriving in Australia. But with Liberty Society by our side, we can reach women earlier in their journey—giving them the support, information, and resources they need from the start. Together, we’re working to create smoother transitions and brighter futures. When these women reach Australia, they’ll already have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive. This partnership signifies an exciting step for SisterWorks, expanding our reach to impact women globally and more effectively support them at every stage of their journey. We’re proud to partner with Liberty Society to make this vision a reality! Stay tuned for more on this journey—it’s only the beginning of what we can achieve together. #NewPartnership #EmpoweringRefugeeWomen #GlobalImpact #RefugeeSupport #SisterWorks #LibertySociety #EconomicEmpowerment #SocialImpact #SistersSupportingSisters
