Have you heard of the Japanese philosophy of "Ichariba Chode"? It translates to "Treat everyone like a brother, even if you never met them before." This philosophy is practiced on a small island in Japan where the most people over 100 years old reside. Their secret to longevity is treating everyone with kindness and respect. Imagine how your life would change if you followed this philosophy. How would the world be if everyone treated each other like family? Let's strive to embody the spirit of Ichariba Chode and create a more compassionate world. #ikigai #japanokiwana #longevity

🌟 Embracing "Shikata Ga Nai" in Daily Life 🌟 In our everyday lives, there's wisdom in the Japanese philosophy of "Shikata Ga Nai," which means accepting things as they are and letting go of what we can't change. Imagine a traffic jam or a rainy day. Instead of getting frustrated, "Shikata Ga Nai" reminds us to accept the situation and adapt. It's about finding peace in acceptance and letting go of the need to control everything. Whether it's small inconveniences or bigger challenges, this philosophy teaches us resilience and flexibility. So let's practice "Shikata Ga Nai" in our daily lives, embracing acceptance and letting go to lead a more balanced and fulfilling life. 🌟 #ShikataGaNai #Acceptance #LettingGo #Resilience #Adaptability #contentcreator

I’ve been thinking about integrity a lot this week. Integrity is a cornerstone of sisu, that untranslatable Finnish word that represents determination, perseverance, courage, willpower and resilience, wrapped up in the belief of our ability to overcome challenges. None of that is possible without integrity. It’s about courageously tackling challenges head-on, standing by our values, and always striving to do better, even when it’s not the easy choice, even when it takes grit. And it matters. Integrity matters every day, in every decision we make. Integrity is at the core of how we define ourselves, and it’s impossible to live a sisu attitude without it. So here’s to integrity - may we always strive to know it in ourselves, and to recognise it in others.

It draws from existing sociocultural, anthropological, and historical work on Danes and Denmark. 📚 It is a humorous 😂, serious 😐, and provocative 😲 lecture that battles through decoding known Danish values by finding out how they play out in real life and not least what they could mean to international employees and… Danes. 🧑🤝🧑 The webinar is hosted by Anatolie Cantir in cooperation with the following 5 municipalities: Ringkøbing-Skjern, Herning, Lemvig, Ikast-Brande and Skive. If you live in one of these areas, you can participate for free! 🎉 You can read more and sign up here: https://lnkd.in/dsx-4MnA #culture #
