We're hard at work over the holidays! I'm thinking about how many people see AI as a dead thing: someone wrote an algorithm or created an agent, which you drop on your app with a splat. And that's great if your use case is generic or if you really want to visualize your customers standing at an airport gate screaming into their phones "I AM NOT ON THE PLANE. TAP DOES NOT HAVE A SEAT FOR ME". You really need to think if instead you're trying to build real systems around AI. For us, that covers a few dimensions of interactions: - With our direct clients, Fraud Fighters shaping their responses to potential attacks. - With valid customers, who we want to help buy product as easily as possible. - With fraudsters, who we want to stop right away. - And with the world in between, where we want to acknowledge the uncertainty and gain more insight.

Do you know how to read these instruments? Yeah, me neither. BUT it's what I was looking at during my first flight yesterday in the pilot's seat! Everything worth doing is scary the first time (Yes, I was terrified 😉 ) mostly because I didn't want to kill my instructor at Aero Elite Flight Training. But he was very gracious and patient.
